🚧 Together for more safety and team spirit As every year, our fitters met in Aarbegren for the annual field service technicians training - a highlight for further training, teamwork and continuous improvement! 🙌 There were many interesting program points, such as 🛠️ PPE protection 🚧 Safe working in containers, silos and confined spaces 🏗️ Instruction for working with cranes and slings 🔒 Cyber security and practical training on laptops and Microsoft tools 🚗 We took the opportunity to equip all company vehicles available on site with our Passavant-Geiger logo and branding. ☕ Of course, there was also plenty of personal interaction during the breaks. 🚗 Driver safety training with our trainees In November, our trainees had the special opportunity to take part in ADAC driver safety training in Koblenz. The aim was to gain practical experience in the safe handling of their own vehicle - under realistic conditions. From slalom driving to optimise visibility and seating position to braking exercises on different surfaces and handling curves with ABS assistance: our junior staff learnt many important lessons for road traffic. The influence of speed on braking distance in wet conditions was also impressively demonstrated. 😃 In addition to having fun, the focus was on safety. The training sensitised participants to potential dangers and raised their awareness of careful driving in difficult weather conditions.
