The IIBCC has come to an end. Experts from all over the world attended this event at the fantastic location in Colombo / Sri Lanka. As a main sponsor of the event, Wehrhahn GmbH not only contributed support, but also provided latest information on innovations in fibre cement production. After his presentation at the Supplier’s Day our Managing Partner Torsten Dietz participated at the Round Table discussions focussing on the chances and risks for the fibre cement industry in upcoming years. With the high amount of data it might be difficult to get a fast overview of the production process. Therefore every morning the Wehrhahn Energy Management System (WH-EnMS) sends an email informing of the most important key performance indicators for productivity and energy consumption. Colours make it easy to identify any additional consumption, disturbing or saving. This way, to keep an eye on the system is very easy and improvement measures can be implemented just-in-time. Because the Wehrhahn Energy Management System (WH-EnMS) continuously records all product and machine parameters directly from the machine PLCs into its database, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are automatically created and recorded (such as kWh/m³ or kWh/t). WH-EnMS meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 50001. The connection of energy, production and process data in one system enables WH-EnMS to display energy trends as well as trend diagrams of process values like filling levels, pressures or temperatures and can even be combined with the energy values in one diagram.
