Our WeilVets Resource Network hosted an informative discussion to highlight the experiences of veteran caregivers. Veteran and Weil Complex Commercial Litigation associate Crystal Weeks gave an introduction and welcomed Elizabeth Dole Foundation leaders Elizabeth Rotenberry, Director of Caregiver Engagement, and Kirsten Feyling, Vice President of Development and Engagement. Both Liz and Kirsten work on Hidden Heroes, one of the Foundation’s initiatives aimed at supporting veteran caregivers. Liz shared her experience as a veteran caregiver and spoke about efforts from Hidden Heroes to support veteran families, and Kirsten led a research-based presentation about veteran caregivers.
