🌱 Sustainable, Efficient and Safe Did you know that sustainability is a top priority even for our apprentices? As part of the IHK project "Azubi for Future," our trainees Max Kissenbeck and Zacharias Splitter launched an energy-efficient lighting project! Their goal: To reduce energy consumption at Winkhaus, cutting operating costs and improving our site’s CO₂ footprint. 🌱 👉 Focus on Energy Efficiency At our Telgte location, 25 old fluorescent tubes were replaced with modern LED lamps as part of the apprenticeship project. LEDs are true energy savers — they use up to 80% less energy and last up to 100,000 hours, ten times longer than conventional fluorescent tubes! 💪 Plus, LEDs are free of harmful substances like mercury. 👉 Why Make the Switch? By upgrading our lighting, we not only reduce energy costs but also make an active contribution to our sustainability goals. Exploring with Winkhaus Austria GmbH! 🚀 In the past few days, we've documented impressive projects and visited two references: 👉 ATC Gruppe: Our partner has successfully transitioned to our latest electronic locking system, blueEvo! The easy switch from a mechanical to an electronic system was particularly important for ATC. Thanks to blueEvo, different access rights can now be assigned to various areas of the company without extensive renovations or wiring. A solution that combines security with flexibility! 👉 Holztechnikum Kuchl (HTL, FS, Internat): At the Wood Technology Institute, the blueSmart system already in use in the school building has been expanded to the newly constructed boarding house, the HTK Cube. This ensures that the new premises are optimally secured.
