🌱 Sustainable, Efficient and Safe Did you know that sustainability is a top priority even for our apprentices? As part of the IHK project "Azubi for Future," our trainees Max Kissenbeck and Zacharias Splitter launched an energy-efficient lighting project! Their goal: To reduce energy consumption at Winkhaus, cutting operating costs and improving our site’s CO₂ footprint. 🌱 👉 Focus on Energy Efficiency At our Telgte location, 25 old fluorescent tubes were replaced with modern LED lamps as part of the apprenticeship project. LEDs are true energy savers — they use up to 80% less energy and last up to 100,000 hours, ten times longer than conventional fluorescent tubes! 💪 Plus, LEDs are free of harmful substances like mercury. 👉 Why Make the Switch? By upgrading our lighting, we not only reduce energy costs but also make an active contribution to our sustainability goals.
