He is a recognised climate tech thought leader, policy professional and journalist by vocation. Prior to co-founding World Fund, he was Director of Communications at Project A Ventures, co-founder of Zetra Project and Krautreporter. Danijel was also co-responsible for the audio-visual appearance of Angela Merkel for nearly half a decade. We can't wait to hear more about Danijel and his incredible journey! 🔜🌍

We’re thrilled to announce that Robin Neff has joined our team in Munich as Senior Investment Associate!🎊 Robin brings an impressive track record, having led investments in companies like our portfolio company cylib and Black Semiconductor, alongside supporting various deep and climate tech deals. 🌍 Passionate about tackling pressing global challenges, Robin believes in Europe’s potential to build global champions in deep and climate tech, leveraging its world-class universities and strong industrial capabilities for scaling innovation. 🚗 Before joining World Fund, Robin was part of Porsche Ventures, where they invested in climate tech leaders like 1KOMMA5°, Bcomp Ltd, and joint portfolio companies CustomCells and cylib. His career began at Wieland Group, a leader in semi-finished copper products, followed by automotive supplier Berger, giving him a unique blend of industrial and investment expertise. 💥 cylib secures a multi-million Euro grant! 💥 Earlier this year, World Fund portfolio firm cylib broke ground on the construction of its FOAK industrial battery recycling facility Currenta Chemparak Dormagen. 🏭 The facility will process 10,000 tonnes of black mass annually. This is equivalent to 30,000 tonnes of lithium-ion batteries - recovering critical raw materials like lithium, graphite, nickel, cobalt, and manganese. 🔋 This is essential infrastructure we need to build up a resilient, decarbonised and circular economy in Europe. 🇪🇺 It’s been announced today that cylib has secured an additional two-digit million grant from North Rhine-Westphalia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, part of a larger double-digit million-euro funding under the Produktives.NRW program. 💶 Congrats to Lilian Schwich, Gideon Schwich, Paul Sabarny and the whole cylib team on reaching another pivotal milestone! 🙌 🌍
