But first, coffee.☕ For many of us, the fresh aroma of coffee in the morning is simply part of the experience, whether we are still at home or have arrived at the office. The anticipation of the first cup of coffee – or any other hot drink – is the perfect way to start the day for many of us. And besides its ability to wake us up, coffee also always creates a moment to come together – and of course this is especially true on today's Cappuccino Day! Since late summer, Panorama Catering has been running the ZEBRA Bar at our headquarters in Künzelsau-Gaisbach. Our baristas there serve a wide range of hot drinks to our employees, from cappuccino and flat white to chai latte. We have put together a few interesting facts about coffee at Würth for you: ☕ Colleagues at the headquarters in Künzelsau-Gaisbach and at the central external warehouse in Waldenburg drink around 3,500 coffee specialities every day. ☕ Filter coffee is the undisputed favourite at the coffee machine. ☕ At the ZEBRA Bar, cappuccino is in first place, closely followed by espresso.

Meet our collector: Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth is widely respected for transforming his father’s wholesale screw business in Künzelsau into a global trading company. Did you know he took over the company’s management at just 19 years old? While building an internationally recognized corporation, he developed a passion for the arts. His journey into art collecting began in the 1970s with the purchase of a watercolor by Emil Nolde. Today, art plays a significant role in the corporate culture, reflecting the Würth Group’s commitment to social responsibility. In 1987, the art collector was painted by the Austrian artist Rudolf Hausner in his office. However, the map in the background features the old company logo and needs an update. Now, the Würth Group consists of more than 400 companies with more than 2,700 branches and shops in 80 countries. Credit: Rudolf Hausner, Der Kaufmann R. W., 1987, Würth Collection, Inv. 1046
