🚀 Science Night 2024 – Powered by Vector Stiftung 🌟 Supporting scientists in transforming their groundbreaking technologies into impactful start-ups is one of XPRENEURS’ key missions. So in our The Science Night 2024 we brought together our partners, start-ups, investors and representatives from research organizations to discuss how we can empower even more teams to succeed in this journey. The event started with opening remarks by Helmut Schoenenberger and Edith Wolf, setting the stage for an exciting night focused on the transformative potential of high-tech startups. 💬 This was followed by an engaging expert talk on "Innovation in CleanTech and Beyond" by Gregor Haidl (HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds), who provided a deep dive into Europe’s opportunities in Climate and Deep Tech innovation. 🗣️ XPRENEURS Alumni and current teams Alexander Schult (Peak Quantum), Lennart Bock (Proxima Fusion), and Thomas Tschurtschenthaler (Fluvion) shared their experiences and challenges as leaders navigating the CleanTech landscape as science spin-offs. The round was led by Point Nine , with support from Climate Founders, Partners in Clime, Earth , and top angel investors. Also the European Space Agency - ESA is backing their groundbreaking approach to biodiversity monitoring. 🌱✨ Hula Earth is transforming the way industries interact with and understand nature. Their advanced platform integrates BioT sensors and satellite imagery to track and analyze biodiversity. This innovative technology can identify over 6,000 species by capturing both environmental and bioacoustic data.
