We hosted an internal hackathon at zeroG, bringing together our skilled Data Scientists to innovate and streamline our internal processes. In line with our commitment to continuous development and innovation, we focused on six key projects, each designed to enhance marketing, sales, and internal communication—powered by Generative AI technologies. One of the standout prototypes was an interactive chatbot designed to facilitate seamless communication on our website. This assistant will help users easily explore our offerings with natural, conversational AI, making it easier than ever to connect with our solutions. Initiatives like this keep us at the cutting edge of technology, ensuring we're always evolving and delivering the best to our clients and team. Thank you to everyone who participated and brought these ideas to life! We’re excited to see these projects evolve further 💫 #Hackathon #Innovation #GenerativeAI #DataScience #zeroG #LifeatzeroG

We had two days of insightful conversations and interactive sessions, and saw many innovative solutions at the International Airport Summit in Amsterdam ✈️ Our team Francesca Vetter, Christian Ritter, and Fabian Vogel presented zeroG and showcased our airport intelligence suite, seer®. It was exciting to demonstrate how leveraging data-driven strategies can help improve both customer experience and operational efficiency. There were several thought-provoking talks and panel discussions. Topics such as the challenges and risks of large-scale AI adoption, and the complexities of safely maintaining AI models during operations were key areas of focus. These discussions also highlighted how AI will become an integral part of aviation in the future. Particularly relevant to our solution, there was considerable attention given to how AI and computer vision can provide deeper insights into airport operations, helping to better understand and predict what is happening on the apron. We also had the pleasure of exchanging ideas with other suppliers, discussing opportunities for collaboration to enhance and refine our solutions even further. Through these conversations with key airport stakeholders, we gained a deeper understanding of how seer® can help transform their ground operations. Thank you to the International Airport Review team for the organization, and especially to Zoe Bryant for making this experience so valuable. #AirportSummit2024 #AviationInnovation #FutureOfAviation #zeroG #LifeatzeroG

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the IT Supplier Tech Day, an event filled with innovation and cutting-edge technology. Our experts, Dr. Alexander Motzek, Pavel Solomein, Dr. Philipp Schade, and Lucas Fabre, represented zeroG by sharing valuable insights into our projects at our booth and during our presentations. We delivered two engaging talks on how the Lufthansa Group is leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) as well as presenting six projects from various business units powered by large language models (LLM), showcasing how we’re using Generative AI to improve efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. The feedback and engagement from attendees on the day were fantastic. While discussions around whether GenAI is a lasting innovation or just a hype continue, our key takeaway is clear: GenAI represents a natural evolution in technological capabilities. It’s not just a trend; it’s reshaping how data experts work, unlocking transformative potential for the aviation industry. #ITSupplierTechDay #GenAI #Innovation #zeroG #LifeatzeroG

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the 3rd Lufthansa Group Corporate Influencer Event at Lufthansa Seeheim, joining colleagues from across the Group. Together, we explored the world of social media, content creation, and the impact of AI on our messaging. Thanks to Ksenia Shevchenko, Manuela B., and Marcus Schwing, who gave a deep dive into LinkedIn success, and Lara Sophie Bothur, who shared her personal journey as a Corporate Influencer. We heard from Vincent Hartig and Karolin Sannwald, LL.M., as well as the Telekom team, Stephanie Tönjes and Karim C., on the topic of storytelling with AI. Jürgen Siebenrock also delivered an enlightening talk on the Lufthansa Group Cultural Journey. The workshops over the two days reaffirmed that authentic content is at the heart of successful brand communication, and involving our employees in content creation strengthens our connection with our audiences. Additionally, we recognized that AI is an essential tool for enhancing our social media strategies, helping us stay ahead in the evolving digital space. 📲 We had the opportunity to collaborate with the other business units to create a reel, which allowed us to work with diverse teams and perspectives. This exercise was a highlight as it showcased our collective creativity and spirit as a Group. 👏🏼 Special thanks to Daniela Forciniti and Gabriela Ferreira Antunes, as well as the entire team, for organizing this terrific event. We’re excited to apply our learnings and look forward to what’s to come! ✨ #LufthansaGroupCorporateInfluencer #CIE2024 #ContentCreation #zeroG #LifeatzeroG

It was fantastic to attend the Lufthansa Systems Airline Forum 2024 in Frankfurt, joining over 550 participants from 80+ airlines to discuss the future of airline operations and cutting-edge IT solutions. ✈︎ Our AI assistant solution, which supports decision-making in operations and scheduling, sparked exciting conversations with attendees at our booth. Airline professionals from NetLine/Ops ++ and NetLine/Sched were keen to test the assistant themselves, marking a growing interest in AI-powered tools. What stood out during the many conversations we had was that AI is ready to revolutionize how airlines handle complexity and disruptions, especially with tools that assist decision-making on the day of operations. The discussions around AI’s role in increasing efficiency and reducing complexity showed how the industry is ready for these advancements. A big thank you to all the attendees, especially those who stopped by our booth. Of course, thank you to the entire zeroG team Pavel Solomein, Nikola Aulig , and Ralf Wittiber for your hard work at the booth and Karim Maarouf, who also delivered a presentation during the NetLine/Crew track on how AI can support decision-making in airline operations, specifically during the crew planning process. #AirlineForum #Innovation #AI #AirlineOperations #zeroG #LifeatzeroG

Looking back at two impactful days at the World Aviation Festival in Amsterdam! ✈︎🇳🇱 The last two days were filled with meaningful discussions on how AI and Machine Learning are shaping the future of aviation. From AI-driven virtual assistants and crew feedback analysis to hyperpersonalization and data-driven decision-making, it’s clear that the potential for AI is immense. AI was a major focus at the event, signaling a shift towards more practical, realistic applications that improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience. Yet, many airlines continue to face challenges in how to effectively harness AI for tangible business opportunities. This has placed greater emphasis on actionable, feasible solutions that address specific industry challenges. Additionally, there is a growing recognition of the need for a cultural shift within airlines—building teams' confidence in making data-driven decisions and democratizing access to relevant data across the organization. Another recurring theme was the struggle to attract and retain top tech talent in the rapidly evolving AI and data landscape, which remains critical for airlines aiming to stay competitive. It was a pleasure to showcase our role in providing AI and data solutions that address these specific challenges, and we're proud to be part of the conversation on how airlines can build their competitive edge through innovation. Congratulations to our partners at Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar for winning the Battle of the Airline Apps! 🎉 It’s inspiring to see the joint efforts within the Lufthansa Group delivering real value to passengers. A shoutout to the team Francesca, Dr. Alexander, Ali-Emil, Manuel, and Paul for representing zeroG and delivering expert talks and keynotes! Last but not least, a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and contributed to these valuable discussions. We’re excited to continue driving data-driven innovation in aviation and look forward to what’s next. #WAF2024 #AviationFest #AIinAviation #DataDriven #Innovation #zeroG #LifeatzeroG
