We are currently looking for a Senior Group Accountant who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Finance Director, your focus will be on the coordination and optimisation of financial reporting processes, group cashflow, and harmonisation of management accounting procedures. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for accuracy with your capacity for creative problem-solving, advancing essential skills for success in the competitive retail sector, all within a company that values dedication and results.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate the Monthly and Year-End Closing (MEC & YEC) processes.
• Support Regional Finance Management in preparing Financial Statements for local entities.
• Gather and consolidate reporting packages from regional subsidiaries to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and present Group Financial Statements and Cashflow Reporting to the Finance Director.
• Own and optimize all relevant processes for the preparation of Group financial statements, focusing on process documentation and timelines.
• Provide support to Finance teams across the group regarding financial reporting, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Drive harmonization of Management Accounting processes across the whole Lovehoney groups for ongoing maintenance of a global accounting manual.
• Act as an ERP Key User for activities related to the general ledger and provide expertise on Management Accounting and FP&A.
  
  
  

What You Should Bring

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Proven experience in financial reporting, consolidation and management accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Strong familiarity with general ledger functions and experience in using ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow-up on agendas and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global finance teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for process improvement and strong communication skills.
