Senior Group Accountant

We are partnering with a global Health & Wellbeing company seeking a Senior Group Accountant to join their finance team in their Berlin office. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a significant impact within a multinational environment.

Role Overview

As Senior Group Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Director to coordinate financial reporting, manage group cashflow, and standardize accounting processes across the organization. Your role will be key in optimizing financial systems and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Monthly and Year-End Closing (MEC & YEC) processes.
• Prepare and consolidate Group Financial Statements and Cashflow Reporting.
• Support Regional Finance Management with local Financial Statements preparation.
• Harmonize Management Accounting practices across the group and maintain a global accounting manual.
• Act as an ERP Key User, providing expertise on Management Accounting and FP&A.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to provide guidance on audits, statutory requirements, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Proven experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and management accounting, ideally within a multinational setting.
• Strong familiarity with general ledger functions and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with strong communication skills.
