(🇩🇪 below) 🎄Apprentice Christmas Action Part 2 at Zentis 🍪🎁 Just like every year on christmas, our apprentices got creative with baking festive Christmas cookies, decorating them with care, and packing them beautifully. The cookies were distributed in our cafeterias in Aachen and Aachen-Eilendorf in Germany in exchange for donations. All proceeds, just like our Wish Tree campaign, are donated to a partner schools to support a good cause. 💛 We’re proud to support such meaningful projects and are already looking forward to next year. In 2023, the Recruitment Team successfully brought on over 100 interns and volunteers! We have worked hard to streamline the recruiting process and practices that we follow by creating recruitment guides and informational sheets for internal use. Our Business Assurance All Hands Event two weeks ago also gave the opportunity to recap on our successfully completed Assurance Sportchallenge 2024. Over three months Business Assurance and our Assurance colleagues from Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services and Public Funds Assurance have collected points by doing sports and any kind of physical activity. As a team, we have collected over 7 million points, which is equivalent to 42.000 km running or 3.5 million sit-ups. An incredible team result for everyone who participated. During our Business Assurance All Hands Event we also celebrated our three most active colleagues: Congratulations to Sina Prochno, Robert Speigel and Axel Zeltner! During these three months, we did not only take increasing care of our physical and mental well-being, but we also contributed to a good cause. For every successfully completed round, we donated 5.000 € to an aid organization chosen by our team. We are therefore happy, that team Assurance donated 15.000 € in total to make an impact to a good cause. In my last posts I have already introduced two of the three aid organizations that our team chose to support: Kleine Riesen and Youth For Understanding. Our third donation was given to DorfwerkStadt e.V.. An organization based in Berlin which promotes the participation of younger and older people in rural and urban areas in political and social development processes. Two years on from launching our CARE4 #sustainability and #ResponsibleBusiness strategy, key achievements include: • 50% reduction in direct carbon emissions across the company’s UK operations in the last year • 3,500+ staff have completed the Group’s new online sustainability training course. • 104 services participated in Championing Social Care 💚💙 Care Home Open Week, up 30% • CareTech ranked 54 in the 2023 Top 100 Apprenticeships Employers list, the highest-placed social care provider in the country • 20% of staff undertook charitable fundraising activities in the last year, with match-funding provided by CareTech Foundation. • 93% of the children in our care feel positive about where they live • Purple Tuesday 2023, the global disabled customer celebration day delivered by Purple Tuesday, trended at #1 on X • CareTech launched EnableAll, the world’s first truly accessible online marketplace platform.
