Exciting customer visit from E-Force! 🚛🔌 We had the pleasure of welcoming the Swiss company E-Force One AG to our premises. They carried out a charging test with their impressive e-truck. We are particularly proud that our new 120 mm² CHARX connect universal inlet is installed in this e-truck, which once again proved its efficiency and reliability. Our DC components, which are installed in the DC charging station, helped the infrastructure to achieve and maintain an exceptionally good performance. In a continuous charging test, the vehicle could be constantly charged with 500 A in 25 minutes. It was a great opportunity for both sides to gain valuable insights and drive the future of e-mobility forward together. In Konsequenz eröffnen sich neue Märkte. Mobilität betrifft uns alle und somit auch der Mobilitätswandel! Elektroautos sind keine Seltenheit mehr und Ladeinfrastruktur und Ladestationenen werden ständig weiterentwickelt. Zusätzlich unterstützen Förderprogramme lokaler Regierungen die Anschaffung von E-Autos, ebenso wie den Ausbau von Ladesäulen. Alltagstaugliche Elektromobilität wird schon heute durch zunehmende Reichweiten der Elektroautos, die Entwicklung hochmoderner und innovativer Ladesäulen (High Power Charging) und die Nutzung erneuerbarer Energien für Elektrotankstellen ermöglicht. Electromobility is a collective project! This basic attitude unites us with the more than 150 participants at this year's VDE Testing and Certification Institute E-Mobility Conference, which is currently taking place in Frankfurt. In order to combine the mobility transition with the energy transition, we need an open dialogue, simplified bureaucratic procedures and streamlined regulations for intelligent sector coupling. We are therefore delighted that we were able to talk to Mr. Thomas Bareiß as a political representative on site during the conference. Mr. Bareiß is a member of the German #Bundestag and transport policy spokesman for the CDU/CSU. Thomas Bareiß, we thank you very much for listening and the conversation! In addition, our managing director Michael Heinemann spoke about the topic of “Opportunity Charging”; that is, charging the vehicle whenever it is stationary anyway. The All Electric Society – how sector coupling works ♻️ Flexibility with a battery storage system and energy management. Industrial companies are increasingly using renewable energies to reduce costs and achieve sustainability targets. The volatility of electricity generation poses a challenge here. An effective energy management system is needed to store surplus energy and use it during peak load times. Otherwise, energy costs will rise. A good example is the Phoenix Contact All Electric Society Park, which achieves flexibility and efficiency through a central, large-scale battery storage system. What does the future of mobility in rural areas look like? At the first symposium on rural mobility on November 6 + 7 at the Zukunftsmeile in Paderborn, technical innovations in public transport for autonomous driving will be discussed.
