💥This new feature of the new LINEAR Solutions #V25 is a real #gamechanger: From now on, we are integrating the scheme generators already known from #AutoCAD into our LINEAR Building and can now offer our fastest scheme without using a CAD platform. This gives you the option of printing automatically labeled schematics directly and making them usable independently of a CAD platform. This opens up new possibilities for various use cases in projects! 👉But that's not all: this feature offers a wide range of possible applications: from first rough pipe schematics in the early concept phase to determine initial dimensions for routing or shafts to detailed calculated pipe schematics. In the concept phase, for example, a heating scheme can be created in which entire building sections, storeys, apartments or rooms are inserted into the scheme generator as “general appliance” using drag & drop. The approximate heating load is then used to determine outputs and mass flows, which are used to dimension the scheme. This makes it easy to create an initial calculated scheme in the early design stages. As more project details become available, the default values for parameters such as pressure loss limits, flow rate limits or material specifications can be adjusted in the settings area. Manufacturer data for pumps and valves can also be selected, as can the adjustment of pipe lengths for sections. With this additional information, more detailed schematics can be created and calculated. You can either print out the result directly as a diagram or transfer it to your CAD system for further processing. Insane, right? 🤯 And the latest V25 release offers even more! LINEAR gets to work – 1,000 trees for our own company forest! 🌲🌳 In spring 2024, we already reported on our cooperation with the Cologne-based company Planted. As a reminder: Planted pursues the vision of getting people excited about climate protection in a positive way. Their “all-in-one sustainability platform” has already enabled us to determine our company's internal carbon footprint, identify internal carbon hotspots and jointly develop reduction options. But there's more: last Monday, we planted our own #companyforest in the Hürtgenwald! Under the expert guidance of the Rureifel-Jülicher Börde regional forestry office, we planted copper beeches and silver firs. The young trees were selected in advance on the basis of the site conditions so that they can thrive in the long term and create sustainable added value. Our company forest will now not only contribute to #climateprotection, but also strengthen local biodiversity! 🌱 A huge thank you to: 👏 Planted for the coordination and organization! 👏 the team from the forestry office for their expert support, the opportunity to ask questions and gain exciting insights into sustainable reforestation! 👏 Our LINEAR team, which bravely defied the wet and chilly weather to plant our company forest! 💪 If you would like to visit our company forest digitally, you will soon be able to do so from the comfort of your office chair! We are incredibly proud that we have been able to donate to the medical emergency aid organization Ärzte ohne Grenzen Deutschland/ Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) in the past. These funds have been used to support life-saving aid projects worldwide – and we also have our loyal customers and partners who have accompanied us on this journey to thank for this.
