There are mainly 2 components to a hotel stay- the infrastructure and the services provided by the staff. While the hotel is in an excellent location with popular markets, eateries and sights in close proximity (within 2-3min walk), the rooms and hotel could certainly do with a facelift. The shortfall in the infrastructure is more than made up by the service provided by the excellent staff at Godwin. We asked for a room at the higher floors with a sea view, and were promptly showed 2, and chose the one we liked. Having lived and travelled in mutiple countries through the years, I can vouch for the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Right from the guards at the entrance to the reception staff(Mr. Singh and Mr. Joel) make you feel very welcome. They were always at hand to suggest good eateries and places to shop and visit. Daniel manages the breakfast buffet and the drinks bar on the 9th floor. An absolute gem of a person!! He entertained us with myriad stories from his experience in the Middle East and the other places he worked. Always made our day to see him around. Mr. Tara Singh and the other support staff were always around to cater during breakfast time, even though this was a self service. We noted that the turn around time for room service was pretty quick, be it ordering food, or sorting the wifi, or even getting a bottle of water. We will definetely miss the warmth of the people who work at Godwin.

Hotel Bentley is nestled in the upscale area of Marine Drive in South Mumbai, boasting a prime location that's hard to beat. Booking through Agoda provided exceptional value for money during our stay. The rooms, especially the deluxe ones, are remarkably neat and spacious, offering a generous 211 square feet. The staff were delightful - friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived, even facilitating an early check-in for one of our booked rooms. Situated on the residential property's 3rd floor, the deluxe rooms impressed us with their cleanliness and ample space. However, it's worth noting that standard rooms might be smaller in size, and the sea-facing suites offer only a partial view of the sea. The small society lift occasionally experienced hiccups, but the staff were readily available to assist with luggage, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Although the hotel lacks an in-house dining area, they make up for it with minimal yet efficient room service. We opted for their coffee and tea service, which met our expectations. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to Marine Drive and its adjacent restaurants and eateries is a standout feature. For a delightful experience, I highly recommend trying Pizza by the Bay for its fantastic view and delectable food. In summary, Hotel Bentley stands out as a perfectly located gem offering great value for money. The combination of its location, neat rooms, accommodating staff, and easy access to nearby attractions and dining options makes it a top recommendation for a fulfilling stay in South Mumbai.

Stayed here with my family for 2 days when we visited south Mumbai. Rate: 5k per night. Pros: Staying here made me appreciate: 1. How grateful I am to be still alive 2. How valuable the services that each service provider has done for us in the past stays at various locations and properties were. Cons: I can list n number of this 1. Rude attitude of the receptionist (Promised us that we would be given an early check-in before booking, and when we reached Mumbai from Cochin he said they couldn’t; took 30 mins to give access to wifi- had to call twice and wait and then later he said ‘Ma’am I’m in the middle of a work as I have to create an Id separately for the room, it will take time’ and finally at least gave the access to the common wifi there) 2. Tedious check-in process 3. Took around 45 minutes to 1 hour to get an iron box when we requested for one. 4. On the second day of our stay, we literally had a ‘blast’! The AC caught fire! See images!! We went to explore the city at around 9:30 am after having breakfast and came back at 11:45 pm to this view!!! After the incident: 1. They did not even *apologise* and above that, 3 of their receptionists tried to put the BLAME ON US. Asked us : -why did you not give the room keys at the reception while going out? (They had not even mentioned any such thing when we checked in) -Why did you not turn off the AC? (In reality, in hotels the power would go off when you pull off the key/card from the wall slot and lock the room. NB: they also did not mention that in their hotel ac didn’t go off when we checked in) - Accused us that the AC was in super low temp(in reality it was 25 degrees) and the TV was on (in reality: was off, it was in standby mode) 2. Some of the staff were at least considerate to us after the incident happened; they cleaned 2 of our bags which were covered up with black ash. 3. They made another room ready by the time we reached back to the hotel that night. 4. We had to clean all our stuff for the next 3 hours: electronics including laptop and other valuables, had to dump a few clothes, socks, accessories and other personal belongings as they cannot be restored. Had to pack all the other belongings which were covered in black ash back home. Left Mumbai with a heavy heart- but still, Super grateful that the incident did not happen later that night when we were sleeping. I hope nobody goes through such an experience. Anywhere !

The rooms are tired and could do with some care and attention. We stayed in one of the balcony rooms on the road side it had 2 double beds and a large seating area a dining table balcony loungers. The cost is 3500 Rs or just below for a night. Try not to get the back rooms or the annex. There is a lift. It’s very close to the Taj hotel and india gate great for food in this area fab juice stands and great kebabs available on the street , and hundreds of restaurants. Walking distance to gallery’s and museums.

Wir genossen wirklich unseren Aufenthalt in Backpacker Cowies. Es ist eine Mischung aus Hotel und Hostel. Man kann in einem privaten Zimmer (mit Dusche und A/C) oder in einem gemeinsamen Schlafzimmer bleiben. Wir haben für das erste gewählt. Das Zimmer war nicht geräumig, aber genügte unsere Bedürfnisse. Das Hotel bietet einen geräumigen gemeinsamen Platz und einen Dachboden, wo man in den Abenden kühlen kann. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Gates des indischen Denkmals und anderer Punkte der Stadt. Sehr günstig, wenn man die Preise von Mumbai betrachtet.

Dieses charmante Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Flughafen. Das Personal ist sehr warm und freundlich und sorgt für ihre Gäste. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig und erinnert mich an 5 Sternen Eigenschaften von der Rückseite in den 90er Jahren. Ein guter Ort, um Hosting zu bestellen, da sie einen großen Raum haben, um alle verschiedenen Funktionen usw. zu organisieren. Nur der größte Nachteil ist die Ausrichtung des Hotels. Ich empfehle wirklich den Besitzern/***Agement eine andere Aufzugs- und Treppelobby zu bewogen, da das Hoteldesign so ist, dass die Zimmer ziemlich weit von der Hauptaufzugslobby entfernt sind und es sich als eine Mühe, von einem Ende zu einem anderen zu reisen

Alles in allem, wenn Sie die ganze Reise von einem anderen Staat zu tun haben, werden Sie sich nicht so wie solche aufgrund ihrer Gastfreundschaft fühlen. Sie haben sehr hilfreiche Service und freundliche Kundeninteraktion (insbesondere Mr. Zoheb). Es gab eine Reihe von Vorkehrungen für ein unbegrenztes leckeres Buffet für das Zusatz Frühstück. Ich habe mit meiner Familie 2 Nächte und 3 Tage hier gehabt.

Preisweise vernünftige Lage. Vernetzung ist auch eine gute Lage, um historische Orte rund um das Colaba-Gebiet zu erkunden. Aber sehr geräusch e während der Nacht, weil nur neben der Hauptstraße. Ich wähle auch Frühstücksoption, aber lieferte begrenzt. Die Hauptfrage ist Parkplatz. Hotel hat keine Parkplätze, also müssen Sie draußen parkieren und bmc geladen 700 Rupie pro Tag. Insgesamt ist für einen Nachtaufenthalt ok.

Ich war skeptisch, als ich die Buchung machte. Ich war nicht sicher, ob ich ein gutes Hotel gebucht habe oder nicht. Aber, als ich das Hotel erreichte, waren alle Besorgnisse weg. Eine Erleichterung, würde ich sagen, und ich war wie ein Gosh, machte einen guten Job. Die Lage war für mich an der Stelle, da es sehr nahe am internationalen Flughafen Mumbai war. Gut, wenn Sie den Mumbai-Verkehr vermeiden wollen, vor allem während der Spitzenstunden. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und voll mit allen grundlegenden Einrichtungen, die Sie brauchen. Das Zimmer war auch gut, mit dem speziellen Sitzbereich, Kleidung, gut geräumige und große Taschentücher. In den Tagen einer Pandemie, mit einem separaten Bürotisch und Stühle war willkommen. Darüber hinaus war das Waschzimmer auch spotless und sauber. All diese verbesserten die Lebenserfahrung. Das Essen im Frühstück war auch gut, obwohl es besser wäre, wenn sie mehr Optionen hätten, aber das ist nur ein Nitzwählen. Die Atmosphäre war auch gut, und das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich. Bei der Fortsetzung mit dem Personal war Herr Ashok, der am Frontbüro sitzt, sehr hilfreich. Insgesamt hatte ich eine gute Erfahrung.

Ich hatte jedoch einen Vorfall, in dem ein Taxifahrer mich aus dem Hotel zerrissen und dann der Fahrer ging zum Hotel und manipulierte das Personal, um ihm mehr Geld zu geben, nachdem ich mich aus dem Hotel zerrissen hatte. If you're thinking of staying at this hotel...DON'T DO IT.  For what you pay, the overall experience and set up is not worth it.  Our experience was very poor.  On arrival the rooms were not as described on the booking; not enough towels, tissues, cutlery, crockery, wit tea and coffee facilities being minimal.  When asking for anything extra it was met with reluctance.  Service from Staff both lacking, and reception desk staff incredibly rude and confrontational. The fridge was broken in both our rooms and eventually after much complaining we got one sorted and the second never happened, there was always an excuse from staff.  Staff have NOT been trained at all.   On one of our days having asked for the room to be cleaned we returned back that evening at 10pm for nothing to have happened. After complaining yet again staff came to sort.  On our final night, some of our family members came over and joined us for dinner. Again service was poor, food was standard, and we were constantly being rushed. Again staff were shocking and clearly lacked training I will not be returning to this hotel again.

We stayed at hotel Cliffton multiple times. Everyone at hotel from security to top management is extremely helpful and kind. They know what a best customer service should be like. We primarily dealt with Rajesh, Ruhi, Usaid, Priyanka(the collection girl), Moi Moi; all of them amazing human beings with always smile on their face to help their guests in the best possible manner. Hotel rooms were nice size and clean considering you are in Mumbai(limited space for everything). Bathrooms were well equiped with all the amenities except only suggestions to keep hair dryer in them. Thank you for the hospitality guys. Keep up the great work. 👍

Beautiful historic hotel which is iconic in South Mumbai opposite the Gateway of India. The club room was beautiful and well appointed. Service was polite but requests from the room were a little slow to be responded to and we didn’t meet the ‘butler’ that was supposed to be available to us throughout our stay. There was some construction work happening on the roof directly above our room during our stay which was deafeningly loud, it took 3 calls to the front desk to get a resolution which was disappointing. At this level of hotel I would have expected at least a warning before the work started and a plan on how to mitigate its effects on us without us having to complain. Having a toddler needing an afternoon nap whilst jackhammers were pounding the ceiling was not an experience we enjoyed. To their credit they did stop the work for 2 hours to let our child nap, but the experience lessened appreciation of the Taj stay.

Wir haben für ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon bezahlt, ***er kann ich nichts zu anderen sagen, aber unser Zimmer war perfekt mit wundervoller Aussicht. Wir kamen 3 Stunden vor dem offiziellen Check-in an, aber das Zimmer war fertig und wir bekamen sofort den Schlüssel. Die Lage war ideal, nur 10 Minuten zum Colaba-Markt, Mondegar und Leopolds. Wenn Sie an der Ufermauer entlanggehen, erreichen Sie in 10 Minuten das Gateway of India und das Taj Palace. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Dachterrasse war erstklassig und bot Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen sowie Cocktails, die alle köstlich waren. Die Aussicht war spektakulär. Wenn ich eine Beschwerde hätte, dann wäre es, dass während unseres viertägigen Aufenthalts nicht einmal die Reinigungskräfte gekommen sind. Ich bin nicht je***d, der jeden Tag saubere Bettwäsche und Handtücher möchte, aber die Mülleimer zu leeren und das Toilettenpapier zu ersetzen wäre gut gewesen. Trotzdem gebe ich diesem Hotel 5 Sterne, weil es wirklich ein hübscher kleiner Fund war und zu 100 % das beste 2-Sterne-Hotel, in dem wir je übernachtet haben.

I had a perfect experience at this hotel. It provides international standards and the staff are extremely helpful and polite. Location for holidays is good as it faces directly to the lake. If for business trip, it might be a bit far from the city especially given the traffic conditions. Otherwise it is highly recommended.

Our recent stay at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu was marked by contrasts, but ultimately the positives outweighed any shortcomings. Upon arrival, we encountered some hiccups with room allocations, which resulted in having to move between rooms multiple times within the first few days as we tried to get 2 rooms together. This was a bit disappointing as we had hoped for a smoother start to our stay. However, once settled into our proper rooms on day three, we found them to be comfortable, albeit starting to get a tad dated we felt. Although we had 2 Seaview rooms, due to the hotel layout and depending on where your rooms are located, you may only get a restricted partial sea view, which I must say was a bit of a let-down. The true highlight of our stay undoubtedly was the breakfast experience at Lotus Cafe. It was nothing short of exceptional, with an array of options that left us spoilt for choice. The live stations where chefs prepare customized orders were excellent, ensuring each meal was tailored to our liking. The service during breakfast was exemplary, with attentive and friendly staff catering to our every need. Although, when it gets very busy, our orders were occasionally forgotten. However, the overall quality of the food and service compensated for these minor lapses. The hotel's location is a major plus point. It's just a short walk away from Juhu Chowpatty, which allowed us to explore the vibrant surroundings and indulge in some authentic street food. For movie fans, a visit to Amitabh Bachchan’s house (“Jalsa”) is also a short walk around the corner. Final minor thing was we weren’t offered their special welcome drink which I believe is customary. I think this was because we arrived early in the morning, but it would have been nice to be offered this for this calibre of hotel irrespective of the time. In summary, while there were initial challenges with room allocations and occasional lapses in service, the unparalleled breakfast experience and convenient location make JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu a standout choice for travellers seeking a memorable stay in Mumbai.

We booked a King One Bedroom Suite with Sea View - Smoking. But during check-in we found out that we were getting a non-smoking room. Not a deal breaker but it would be good for the hotel to keep the room sold out if they cannot offer what is stated. To compensate they did upgrade us to the 2nd largest room in the hotel with both the sea and city view, which was nice. The hotel room was beautiful and spacious, in general was clean, but the cups and glasses in the room were not clean at all, the same for the breakfast area. The staff was nice and accommodating, room service was fast and they took great care of their guest when it came to serving breakfast. The location of the hotel is one of the best in Mumbai, and the view is gorgeous - the queens necklace. 100% recommend :)
