Valamar Obertauern Hotel

Even though everything outside the shower was quite good, I find being able to shower normally in your room a very basic for any hotel, let alone 4* hotel in this location, for this price. Problem with the shower was that every 20-30 seconds a few seconds flush of very hot (burning) water would come out, followed by flush of very cold water, basically making showering in your room impossible. We had friends with 1 year old baby and 4y old son. Their son got burns, and luckily they didn't shower the baby first, otherwise the baby would be hurt. This seems like infrastructural water system problem (as the same problem was apparent in the spa and pool showers area, even though not as significant, so this is how we got our shower, this and with cold water unfortunately), and it's obvious they knew about this before, and I frankly don't understand how they can operate like this problem doesn't exist (and not inform guests beforehand). If this was US there would be some serious lawsuits going on. We complained and they gave us 10% discount, really it should be much higher (30-50%). On our checkout, other guest heard us mentioning that the problem wasn't solved (even though they had plumber trying to fix it day before for 5-6 hours - there was message that due to that there will be no water in the hotel), and other guest told us that they had same problem - they were managing it by showeing with the colder water, so that when the flush of hot water would come it would not be as hot. I find it a bit ridiculous at the hotel of this level. Everything else was quite good actually, so I'm sorry that I need to give it 2*, but these are really the basics!
