Das Zimmer ist sauber und ordentlich, die Besitzerin ist aufmerksam und rücksichtsvoll gegenüber den Gästen. Toller Laden! Als ich in Zhangjiajie ankam, war ich hinsichtlich der Reiseroute verwirrt und der Chef erklärte mir geduldig die geplante Route.

Toller Aufenthalt direkt neben dem Osttor des Nationalparks. Der Besitzer war so nett und freundlich. Wir bekamen eine englische Karte und einen zweitägigen Wanderplan für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war warm und gemütlich mit wirklich frischer Bettwäsche und bequemen Betten. Ich würde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen.

They were very attentive and took time to settle us and provided us with mad and route information that was a real amazing thing to Have when visiting zhangjiajie

The host is super nice and helped me find a route for everyday. I even got an update and if you want to start your route from the East Gate it’s perfect. It was really cute and I would definitely come back!

A fantastic stay in a truly wonderful area. I managed to spend two days in the park then one day at Tianmen mountain then another at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Absolutely amazing. As for the hotel everything was perfect but the best thing was the owner. He was so helpful and made things so easy for me. Even took me to the bus station one day to help me. My stay at Zhangjiajie Mido Inn was nothing short of a restorative journey, a much-needed reprieve after receiving less-than-ideal results from my recent CT scan. As a cancer patient, I was seeking more than just a place to rest—I needed an experience that would uplift my spirits, and the Mido Inn, along with its caretaker Wu, delivered exactly that. Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests. Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while. Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. As I left Zhangjiajie, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength, carrying with me memories of not just the breathtaking landscapes, but of the kindness of a stranger who made a world of difference in my journey.

Great place and the boss was lovely - very helpful and gave some good advice about what to see. Comfortable room and great location in short walking distance from the main entrance.

Our stay was wonderful. Horel's location was great near the beautiful street, so many lightr arroung amd yummy streetl food. The hotel owner was so polite, caring and helping whenever we were in need of smth. Less than 10min walk to Wulinguan East gate. The hotel room was clean and comfy. I will come back one day to explore more and stay at this hotel again. Thanks much to the owner and a chance to visit again, with my Mom. Feeling happy and grateful.

Highly recommend staying at Mido. A perfect location right on the edge of the park by the east gate. Incredibly kind hosts who helped so much using translate and gestures to help plan my trip and book my tickets with amazing discounts. Each day they would help me decide what to do and where to go and check in regularly using we chat. I was able to do my laundry and dried my clothes in the room overnight using the heater and coat hangers provided. Overall a fantastic experience I would highly recommend!

Very nice and comfortable room. Conveniently located near the main east gate to Wulingyuan. The host is very helpful and patient in providing very detailed suggestions (with useful maps provided) to the routes to take for visiting Wulingyuan which is very helpful in planning to visit such a big national park. Highly recommended to stay here if it is your first time visiting the park.

We had a very great time at this hotel. Since we were here in very low season (start of December) we were upgraded to a very nice two bed room, which was very much appreciated. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the park entrance on foot, which is great if you’re like us and want to be there as early as possible (the park opens at 07:20). The lady at the desk was also very helpful in showing possible routes we could go on each day to make the most of our time here. Thanks!
