The Fall of the House of Usher snuck into second place on Netflix‘s English-language TV charts during its debut week.
After debuting on October 12, the series tallied 6M views in just a few days on the service. With eight episodes available, it’s possible Mike Flanagan’s latest project could make its way to No. 1 on the English-language list.
But, it would have to beat Beckham, which held onto its No. 1 spot for the second consecutive week with 11.6M views from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15.
It was the French series Lupin that claimed the most-watched series on Netflix for the week, though. Part 3 crept into the top spot with 14.1M views, easily taking the top spot on the Non-English TV charts. Parts 1 and 2 also remained among the Top 10 at No. 2 (4.7M views) and No. 4 (4.3M views), respectively.
Elsewhere in TV, Season 4 of coming-of-age series Sex Education took third place with 4M views, while Love is Blind Season 5 claimed fifth place with 2.6M views. One Piece came in at No. 6 in its eighth week on the list with an additional 1.9M views, and Season 5 of Virgin River took No. 8 with 1.4M views.
As for the film side of things, Reptile eked out a win with 14.2M views for its third week atop the English-language list. However, Fair Play came in a close second with 14M views.
Audiences appear to be keeping the Oct. 3 celebration going as they gear up for the new Mean Girls musical movie. The original film mustered up 3.9M views during this window, landing at No. 5 on the list. At No. 10 was quintessential Halloween fare — Jordan Peele’s Get Out.
