Chris Cuomo has signed a multi-year deal to continue hosting Cuomo on NewsNation‘s primetime lineup.
Terms were not disclosed.
Cuomo’s show was launched in 2022 following his exit from CNN the previous year.
Sean Compton, president of Nexstar’s networks division, said in a statement, “Chris is a one-of-a-kind talent whose unrivaled analysis and commentary has helped grow the audience at NewsNation and strengthen our brand. He believes strongly in NewsNation’s mission of delivering ‘News for All Americans’ and we are extremely pleased that he will remain a staple of the network’s primetime lineup.”
Cuomo said, “Of course I am staying. Where else but NewsNation can you expose the game instead of being forced to play? Let’s get after it!”
During his NewsNation tenure, Cuomo has hosted town halls on topics including trade, jobs, anti-Semitism, crime in America and the Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. He also has traveled to Israel and Ukraine.
