‘Inside Out 2’ Red Carpet Photos: From Ayo Edebiri To John Stamos And More

Ahead of the arrival of Inside Out 2 in theaters Friday, June 14, the cast of the long-awaited animated sequel film as well as those behind the camera and more celebrities showed out to support at the movie’s world premiere. Many of the voice cast including Amy Poehler (Joy), Ayo Edebiri (Envy), Maya Hawke (Anxiety), Lewis Black (Anger), Tony Hale (Fear), Kyle McLachlan (Riley’s Dad), Kensington Tallman (Riley) and more as well as Pixar CEO Pete Docter, director Kelsey Mann and writers Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein walked the purple carpet.

Poehler, Black and Phyllis Smith — who was absent from the carpet — return to voice their respective emotions Joy, Anger and Sadness while Liza Lapira and Tony Hale took over the roles of Disgust and Fear from Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader, respectively. Paul Walter Hauser and Adèle Exarchopoulos voice new emotions Embarrassment and Ennui. Grace Lu and Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green voice Riley’s best friends and hockey teammates, and Lilimar voices the high school hockey team captain Val whom Riley looks up to very much. Yvette Nicole Brown voices Coach Roberts.

Other supportive celebrities included John Stamos, Sam Richardson, Allison Holker, Hayley Erbert and Derek Hough, Lil Rel Howery, Xochitl Gomez and June Diane Raphael also attended the screening at the El Capitan Theater. Flea made quite an appearance for the cameras too.
