Paris hosted the world premiere of Napoleon, a historical action epic featuring Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.
Against a stunning backdrop of large-scale filmmaking orchestrated by legendary director Ridley Scott, the film captures Bonaparte’s relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine (Vanessa Kirby).
Scott was joined by the stars and crew of the film, Joaquin Phoenix, Vanessa Kirby, Tahar Rahim, Edouard Philipponnat including Tom Rothman, Mark Huffam, Kevin Walsh & Rooney Mara all of whom walked the carpet at the Salle Pleyel on Tuesday, November 14th.
The film captures Napoleon’s famous battles, relentless ambition and astounding strategic mind as an extraordinary military leader and war visionary. Also starring are Tahar Rahim, Mark Bonnar, Rupert Everett, and Youssef Kerkour. Producers are Kevin J. Walsh, Mark Huffman, Joaquin Phoenix, and Ridley Scott. Executive Producers are Raymond Kirk, Aidan Elliott, and Michael Pruss.
Apple Original Films/Sony Pictures will release Napoleon exclusively in theaters globally on November 22, before streaming globally on Apple TV+.
