❓ Do you know the Danish word "hygge" ❓ It is a word in the Danish language describing the creating and being of a warm atmosphere and enjoying good things in life with good people - very much in line with the general atmosphere at AKEA Automation ☕   This morning when arriving at the factory, our beloved kitchen and cleaning staff had decorated the entire factory for the upcoming Christmas, and of course included a Christmas tree in our canteen. 🎄   So here we are ready for a month with extra "hygge" in the Christmas time. Wishing you all a very nice upcoming Christmas month from the Akea Team 🤖

🔧 When functionality meets design ⭐ Together with our valued customer we not only reviewed the functionality of the robot gripper, but also design and safety for operators when doing service and maintenance. 👷♂️ Together we decided to make a black anodizing of the aluminum parts to fit the black colors of the KUKA robot features, very well balanced with the orange color of the robot itself ⚫ 🟠 Luckily this also matched the gripper from GIMATIC very well! For safety both ends of the gripper body is covered with a large rounded, piece of plastic making sure that no one will get harmed if they should be unlucky to hit their head or body parts hard when moving close around the robot. ⛑️ Small things make stuff like this look great.
