🚀 𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗗𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳-𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗮 🌊 EMODnet Biology, in collaboration with Deltares and the 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, has released an innovative habitat suitability map for 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗳-𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗮: • Sabellaria spinulosa • Modiolus modiolus • Lanice conchilega • Ostrea edulis By analyzing environmental factors such as 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, this new product provides precise insights into where these species can establish stable populations.
