The doors to the MGM Music Hall are open and the final phase of the Six Invitational 2025 is underway. Three games today with the team Unwanted from the USA taking an early victory in match number 1.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is already breaking records! On Wednesday night, we kicked off the road to Austin in style at the Moody Center ATX alongside some of the biggest players in entertainment, gaming, and the city itself. Tickets sold out in just six hours - a record for BLAST and faster than some of the biggest artists to grace this venue. This is testament to the passion and support from the North American Counter-Strike scene. Austin Mayor Kirk Watson joined us to celebrate what this Major means for the city - an event set to deliver a $30M+ economic impact and further cement Austin’s reputation as a global entertainment hub, joining the ranks of world-leading events SXSW, Austin City Limits and Formula 1. France continues to be a leading esports nation! Two of the biggest esports championships in the world are coming to Lyon for back-to-back weekends of elite competition: - Fortnite Global Championship 2025 – September 6-7 - Rocket League World Championship 2025 – September 9-14 Hosting these global spectacles at the LDLC Arena is another milestone for France’s dominance in esports with world-leading teams, players, events, infrastructure and government support. Even President Emmanuel Macron gave the announcement a thumbs up, stating: “France continues to host the biggest events in the world! Proud to see our country shine and happy for all the esports enthusiasts who will meet in Lyon.” To mark the Rocket League announcement, we brought to life three in-game ‘Fennec’ cars with a classic French twist in Paris, alongside inviting popular local teams and players from Team Vitality, Karmine Corp, and Gentle Mates. BLAST’s French journey first started with the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023 and will continue with more world-class events in the next 18 months. This is another landmark moment for French esports. Kick off your Friday with a brand new People Behind BLAST feature - this week featuring BLAST's Growth Director, Faye Marlborough 📈 Being at BLAST for more than five years - Faye swapped working in sports publishing, Bristol bars and radio jingles for the world of esports, starting at fnatic before transitioning to BLAST before the pandemic hit. Faye now leads the Audience team at BLAST overseeing the Social Media, Marketing, Digital, Branding & Editorial teams across all of BLAST's ecosystems. A double-header of events in Lyon's LDLC Arena this September. 🇫🇷 🪓 Fortnite Global Championships - 6-7th September 🚗 Rocket League World Championships - 12-14th September Fortnite comes to France for it's first time, bringing the Global Championships back to Europe following on from the thrill of last year's event in Fort Worth, Texas. Rocket League travels to one of it's biggest fanbases for the first time in RLCS history - exciting times for the French scene, especially after France hailed victorious the World Championships in 2024. 2025 is really getting going with one of the stand-out moments of the esports year - the Six Invitational - and the pinnacle of the BLAST Rainbow 6 ecosystem. We are immensely proud of our deep collaboration with our wonderful partners at Ubisoft & I am looking forward to being at this sold out event next week with our great partners, our shared team behind the scenes, our hosts in Boston and virtually with the millions watching around the world who are already watching the early rounds of competition right now. The Six Invitational is wonderfully unique, it represents the end of the esports season - we crown the best team - but it also starts the next, as everyone can look ahead to the year with key updates about the game, shared with the millions of passionate fans and players.
