𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲! 🌍 We're excited to share that we've completed our first Scope 3 climate accounting results, a significant milestone in our ESG reporting journey 🎯 But what exactly is Scope 3? 🤔 While Scope 1 covers direct emissions from our own operations and Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from the energy we purchase, Scope 3 goes even further. It encompasses other indirect emissions in our value chain, including those from our suppliers, transportation, and even the use of our products 🚛🔄 Reporting on Scope 3 emissions provides a more comprehensive view of our carbon footprint, allowing us to address the emissions associated with our entire supply chain 📊. It also ensures that we aren't simply shifting emissions to other companies by outsourcing activities—something that could distort the real environmental impact. Starting this journey isn't without its challenges, as Scope 3 sets requirements for data that our suppliers and partners must have available📋.
