One of the key discussions centered around Marketing & PR – what Danish companies need to do to make an impact in the US market🌎 . Here’s what we learned: 📢Stand out in a crowded market The US market, especially in cities like New York, is very competitive. Danish companies often have a “too nice” presence. To succeed, you need to be bolder, more creative, and louder to grab attention 🎯Niche over mainstream While everyone dreams of being in Bloomberg or the New York Times, niche trade publications can be just as powerful. Focus on targeted publications that speak directly to your industry and audience 🔁Test and iterate Don’t be afraid to experiment with different channels — whether it’s events, Google ads, or LinkedIn posts. Try different approaches and see what works best, but do it methodically to find your path to success 💰PR costs If you’re thinking about hiring a PR agency, expect retainers in the range of $5,000 to $25,000 per month. This is important to keep in mind as you plan your budget for scaling 🤝Build reporter relationships Many journalist emails are publicly available.
