Yesterday caramma was among the winners of the Danish Design Award 2024 ⭐ ! Each solution was based on 5 core values: do no harm, pursue beauty, lead the way, prove your impact & solve problems worth solving. The Jury says : “caramma-support bottle is an empathetic solution that pays attention not only to the child but also to any type of parent. Through a well-researched and well-documented solution, it introduces a novel way of fostering a sense of belonging. The design stands out by its strong character, grounded in a deep understanding of purpose and effect. Beautiful in every sense of the word, this design solution reinvents outdated models that we live by sharing the experience of breastfeeding with all caregivers. Caramma support bottle shows a strong dedication and sincere wish to solve today’s challenges and pioneer new forms of engagement for the future.” We are extremely honored to have received this reward with acknowledging words by the jury “this design solution reinvents outdated models that we live by sharing the experience of breastfeeding with all caregivers.” We are excited to continuing to build a brand that turns those words into action. 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that caramma is a finalist in the Danish Design Award 🌟 Breastfeeding can be a complex journey - 50% of mothers face challenges, and only 1 in 10 reach the recommended six months of breastfeeding. As parental roles evolve and new laws across Europe encourage fathers to take leave, the caramma bottle arrives at a crucial time to provide support. At caramma, our goal is to be the best alternative for feeding, providing the care and support when there is a need. The caramma bottle is the first air-free design that allows parents to feed their babies in natural feeding positions — with or without milk in the breasts. The bottle strengthens the heart connection between parent and child while stimulating oxytocin, lowering stress levels for both. Our patented vent system mimics the natural functioning of a mammary gland, giving babies the ability to control their feeding rhythm with natural pauses. This helps to promote healthy eating habits and reduces the risk of overfeeding. We are proud to celebrate the power of design and its ability to make a difference in healthcare. Our deepest gratitude goes to the dedicated healthcare professionals, parents, and babies who helped us develop and refine the caramma support bottle. Together, we're creating better, healthier feeding experiences for families. 💫 A special thank you to @petra kleis for the wonderful photos, to Veronica D'Souza for being amazing creative director together with Alexandra Rendtorff who is also the talent behind our brand identity and part of our core-caramma team, to FUHR STUDIO for some of the core elements og our visual identity & to Martin Stoltze, who is our industrial designer and 3D-wizard. #DanishDesignAward #BreastfeedingSupport #HealthyParenting #InnovationInHealthcare #SustainableFeeding #CarammaBottle
