🚀 Our ‘’baby’’ is coming back home after a successful 2024! ✨ Here is our 2024 overview: 🔧 Final Assembly: 2024 began with the delivery of our final heavy components, followed by a year of intensive assembly work to complete the insulation, piping, and safety systems. 🌿 Spreading Awareness: We participated in IFAT Munich 2024 to raise awareness about sustainable technologies, especially HTL. ⚙️ Certifications: Successfully passed FAT & SAT tests and earned CE and PED certifications for all components, including our innovative heat exchanger. 📦 Logistics: Transported the plant to Rostock, Germany and back for trials while awaiting the site in Denmark to be ready. 💧 Production: Produced 15,000L of bio-crude oil and kicked off quality testing. Just this morning, the plant safely returned home after successful commissioning in Rostock—we continue testing and are committed to further improving our technology. We recently came across an insightful article that provides a critical analysis of how funds are allocated within the green sector. It raises a concern we share: while significant investments are directed towards carbon capture, far less is dedicated to producing sustainable fuels. We believe it’s more economical to replace fossil fuels with sustainable alternatives rather than mitigating their effects through carbon capture. However, we would like to add that classical P2X technologies require more energy than we’re likely to generate in the coming years. At Circlia Nordic, we offer a solution that is more than 5 times more efficient, than P2X technologies in terms of electricity consumption per produced amount of liquid fuel. Our HTL technology efficiently produces nearly carbon-neutral sustainable fuels. We’ve just completed our first full-scale unit in Aarhus, which will soon begin operation at a commercial site.
