Joakim Edin specializes in AI explainability, the process of figuring out how AI reasons and arrives at an answer. Explainable AI is vital, he says, but current explainability methods need improving. Joakim, alongside authors Andreas Geert Motzfeldt, Casper Christensen, and co-authors Tuukka Ruotsalo, Lars Maaløe, and Maria Maistro, argues that the evaluations of explainability models are flawed, which may have caused previous conclusions in the field to be incorrect.
