🎉 Happy Birthday and Congratulations on 60 Years! 🎉 Today, our CEO, Ivan Noes, is turning 60, while also marking his 30th anniversary as CEO of DAVA Foods. In 1995, Ivan took over as CEO from his father. Since then, he has expanded the company from a Danish company into an international food group with more than 10 associated companies across the Nordic and Baltic regions. During that time, Ivan has led the development of DAVA Foods’ product portfolio, expanding it from solely eggs to also include plant-based foods and spices. Throughout Ivan’s career, innovation has always been a key motivator for him. Ivan has demonstrated innovation in several ways: from refining eggs and developing new egg-based products, such as protein beverages, to pioneering plant-based foods cultivated in the Nordic region. Ivan has successfully expanded DAVA Foods’ egg and plant-based business in close collaboration with farmers and the company’s owners. His driving force has always been to develop business that benefit both DAVA Foods, his local community, Nordic agriculture, and the company’s ownership structure. As a result, Ivan has been a frontrunner in transforming DAVA Foods into a company that plays a key role in the green transition – focusing on eggs and plant-based foods as core products while ensuring that great taste remains a high priority. As a leader, Ivan is visionary, honest, and dedicated – to his work, his team, and the company he leads. On behalf of all employees at DAVA Foods, we wish Ivan the very best on his special day and look forward to many more years with him at the helm.

Yesterday marked the launch of our brand-new spice mix products - especially designed for people who enjoy food with great taste, but who are short on time ⌚ As a company, we are all about about food and flavour 🌶 But we also understand that life is busy and the time for cooking is, sometimes, short.   Aksel Karlsen, our spice specialist and CEO of DAVA Foods Ingredients, says:   "At DAVA Foods, we are all about good food and great taste, but we know that the common consumer is very busy. With our series of spice mixes, we want to ensure a quick, easy meal that is also tasty – because we value great taste and believe that the consumers do to. Here you go – try convenience and good taste in one package.”   CAREFULLY DEVELOPED FLAVOURS At our spice factory, Aksel and other colleagues have developed and mixed the recipes to ensure you get the perfect taste – every time. Today, it is International Legume day – and as you all know, we are a major fan of legumes at DAVA Foods! Beans, lentils and peas, we have them all in our assortment 💚   ❕ Fun fact ❕ Did you know that we have been growing legumes in the Nordic countries since the Bronze Age? However, since the mid-1800s, grain and potato cultivation have dominated. But because we work with legumes every day, we know that Danish agriculture still has the necessary skills to be involved all the way from crop processing to the legumes you see in kitchens and supermarkets today. Intern ➡ Trainee ➡ Sales Assistant Today, we are celebrating a milestone in DAVA Foods for one of our colleagues, Lasse Toft 🎉 Back in Autumn 2022 Lasse started as an intern in the organization. He showed both the potential and eagerness to learn the sales trade and enjoyed attending fairs and talking to customers (he is very good at talking with people. Which you may already know if you have met Lasse on a fair 🙏). Due to his many talents, Lasse was offered a traineeship in 2023 where he has not only been a part of the Commerciel team, but also worked in all departments throughout the organization. He has obtained a thorough knowledge and understanding here of. Now, two years later he graduates as Trainee and is our new Sales Assistant 👏 His mentor and manager, Jens Madsen, says the following about Lasse: "We are so proud of Lasse and his achievements so far. Everywhere I go, I receive positive feedback about Lasse from customers and colleagues. I look forward to follow his professional progress and see what he can achieve." As for the main character himself, he says the following about his traineeship: "I have grown significantly during the 2 years I have been a trainee at DAVA Foods, both personally and professionally. I can't thank Jens enough for a great trainee program, and to all my colleagues: thank you for being so open-minded and helpful! It is priceless in a period of learning." Are we going to have more trainees after Lasse? Indeed! Trainees are so important for us, because we can help them achieve the career they want, and, also, because they challenge us and give us new perspectives on our core business. 🌿 AN ASTONISHING AMOUNT OF LEGUMES 🌿 “What is a legume?” – we know that is this question many people think upon hearing the word “legume”, because to many people it is still an unknown ingredient on the dinner plate. However, this is not the case for us at DAVA Foods: we have endorsed and embraced the legumes fully with a broad assortment of legumes for both retail and professionals (and the majority of the legumes are Danish and organic – what’s not to like? 👌). So to answer our own question (and perhaps your curiosity): legumes are the collective name for beans, lentils and peas 🌱 We want to share our endorsement of the legumes with you, and thus our colleague, Jens Madsen, explains more about legumes and the usability of these in the video. He is also very proud to present this year’s first new product: Danish green lentils.
