For 42 months, groups of aluminum panels (alloys 6061, 7075, 2024, and 2219) have been exposed to the elements at NASA's beachfront site at the Kennedy Space Center. The goal? To evaluate the effectiveness of hexfree conversion coatings compared to traditional hexavalent chromium. Among the test subjects was eTCP, and the results speak for themselves.
