Om os
We are a Scandinavian company highly specialized within flood protection. We have invested actively in creating the world's most cost-effective solution for flood protection, as well as deploying temporary reservoirs for storing rainwater, wastewater etc. Today we probably offer the strongest solutions for large-scale flood protection in terms of “Price” and “Efficiency”. Our leading flood protection system is the NoFloods Barrier – an innovative system that uses the threat (floodwater), to protect people, property and critical infrastructure against flood damage, FASTER and CHEAPER than using sandbags, especially during hurricanes and storms. The NoFloods Barrier is a solution the French Department of Civil Defense and Emergency Preparedness ”Sécurité Civil” has bought since 2005, and made several tests and evaluations of the product’s capabilities. Our products and solutions are based on more than 15 years of experience of dealing with floods and natural disasters and we have a presence in more than 40 countries Our Headquarter is located at CATscience Park, Roskilde, and has production and test facilities in Kalundborg. We’re happy to announce that our NoFloods Barrier is being tested as a Proof of Concept (POC) in Terengganu, Malaysia, in collaboration with our partner Infra Water. This innovative flood solution leverages IoT technology to provide real-time flood monitoring and response. Installed along a 300-meter stretch of road at FT189 Jalan Seberang Jerteh, the barrier will prevent flooding to the road ensuring safety during the monsoon season. The POC runs from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, with the potential to scale nationwide if successful. Minister of Works, Alexander Nanta Linggi, has praised the barrier’s ability to safeguard roads and other public infrastructure from flood damage: https://swiy.co/RZGH We look forward to seeing the impact this innovation will have on the future of flood management in the country. Thanks to our Malaysian partner, Infra Water, for making this happen. 👉 P.S. Want to learn more about our highly effective flood barriers? Recently, our NoFloods Barrier successfully protected two locations in the Czech Republic from flooding. Following heavy rainfall in the region, our barriers were swiftly deployed to protect Hlučín City and Ostrava-Svinov from rising floodwaters. In Hlučín City, a 220-meter barrier protected a home for the elderly, while a 100-meter barrier in Ostrava-Svinov safeguarded low-lying areas. Thanks to the quick deployment, both areas were shielded from potentially devastating floods. You can watch the videos of our barriers in action here: https://swiy.co/Pe0K Interested in learning more about our barriers? Contact us here: https://swiy.co/M_X6

A team of NASA rocket scientists is developing autonomous underwater robots that can go deep beneath Antarctica’s giant ice shelves, where humans cannot. The robots’ task is to understand better how rapidly ice is melting — and how quickly that could cause catastrophic sea level rise. Watch the video here: https://swiy.co/P9yo

Hail — not hurricanes, floods or tornadoes — has caused the highest weather damage costs in the U.S. so far this year. Research suggests that climate change will cause large hailstones to become more common. Here's more: https://swiy.co/P7PI

Millions of people were ordered to evacuate their homes as Typhoon Shanshan lashed southwest Japan with strong winds and torrential rain on Thursday, knocking out power, snarling air traffic and forcing major factories to close. At least three people have been killed so far and scores injured in what authorities have warned could be one of the strongest-ever storms to hit the region. Toyota suspended operations in all of its domestic plants due to the storm. At the same time, other automakers such as Nissan and Honda, and semiconductor firms Renesas, Tokyo Electron and Rohm, temporarily halted production at some factories. A new analysis shows the 'worst case scenario' for Antarctica's melting glaciers is much less severe than the United Nation's current estimates. The UN's prediction that the melting of Antarctica's so-called 'Doomsday' glaciers could alone raise global sea levels two feet before the year 2100 has shaped global climate policy since at least 2016, when the estimate was first introduced.
