Today, we had the honor of welcoming an important visitor to the site at Tønder Biogas! European Energy’s L-CO₂ trailer has arrived to assist in the final stages of commissioning our liquefaction plant. The trailer will handle the transportation of the clean, liquefied biogenic CO₂ for further refinement - enabling the fantastic production of large quantities of e-methanol at European Energy’s Kassø Power-to-X facility. Exciting times ahead! AmmongasEuropean Energy ✖️ Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Co.Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners

A creative storyteller at heart, I translate complex narratives into compelling messages.

Employee of the Quarter – Excitement Edition! I am psyched to share that I was recognized as Employee of the Quarter for embodying the company value of ‘excitement’! 😄✨ The motivation behind this made my day: "Daniel is always positive, happy, and excited, and his mood really lightens up the day and makes everyone around him excited and happy as well. He is so passionate about his work, and you can really see that he has a burning passion and excitement for it. Latest with the competition he created, he sparked so many laughs and excitement around the company." My excitement stems from something deeper than just my personality – it’s a reflection of this incredible organization and the inspiring work we do every day at European Energy. Our mission is meaningful, and being surrounded by amazing colleagues who share this passion makes it easy to show up with a smile (and a little extra enthusiasm 😉). Special shoutout to my communications department for being as amazing as you are – you’re a big part of why I feel like we’re onto something truly special. And thank you to everyone who joined in the fun of the recent competition – seeing everyone engaged, laughing, and having a good time was the biggest win for me 🏆 #inittogether #lightingitup

Improved market conditions in the second half of 2024, but some divestments pushed to 2025. With improved conditions in the M&A markets and strong progress across key initiatives, European Energy is poised to close 2024 on a high note. Despite some divestments shifting into 2025. Our focus on long-term growth, underpinned by advancements in Power-to-X, record-breaking contracted power sales, and a robust project pipeline, positions us strongly going forward. Key highlights: - Divestments & Financials: 2 GW divestment pipeline progressing well; adjusted EBITDA forecasted at ~EUR 184 million (+/- 10%), and profit before tax at EUR 100 million - Construction Milestones: First solar park in Latvia (148 MW) and first wind farm in Greece (26 MW) now under construction, totaling 1.1 GW. Projects ready for final investment decisions grew to 3.2 GW (+28% YoY)   Major Achievements: - Over 1,700 MW of PPAs signed - our highest ever - Operational: Måde Green Hydrogen Facility in Denmark - Completed: Carbon capture facility in Tønder for e-methanol production - Secured: EUR 55.8 million EU Innovation Fund grant for Power-to-X innovation We’ve had a highly productive year, even with some timing shifts in divestments. These delays don’t affect our strategic direction or momentum. European Energy remains focused on long-term growth and sustainability.

Pushing the green transition forward in Brazil through Power to X! 🇧🇷   European Energy and Petrobras are teaming up to make green methanol production a reality in Pernambuco, Brazil.   This collaboration is all about combining strengths: Petrobras’s unparalleled presence in Brazil’s energy sector and European Energy’s proven expertise in Power-to-X solutions. Together, we’re working towards building a commercial-scale green methanol facility that will help decarbonize industries and position Pernambuco as a leader in renewable energy technology.   Green methanol is a game-changer for reducing emissions in hard-to-abate sectors, like plastic production, shipping, aviation, and this project represents a huge opportunity to leverage Brazil’s abundant resources to create green energy solutions with global impact. Well done EE and Petrobras teams. Looking forward to continue working on this strategic partnership. We did it! A major accomplishent for Lillebaelt Syd Offshore Park!   After 14 years of dedicated effort, collaboration, and innovation, I am very happy to announce that the construction permit for Lillebaelt Syd Offshore Wind Park has been officially issued by the Danish Energy Agency.   This isn’t just a win for European Energy and SONFOR—it's a win for the offshore wind industry, proving that with persistence and partnership, we can navigate even the toughest headwinds.   Lillebaelt Syd will deliver 165 MW of renewable energy, powering the equivalent of 148,000 European households—a big step on Sønderborg’s journey to net zero by 2029.   A heartfelt THANK YOU to: - The local communities of Sønderborg and Assens for their support (80% and 69% backing in MEGAFON surveys—amazing!) - Our partners and teams for 14 years of hard work, dialogue, and innovation - Everyone involved in making this a reality!

This is a read today that you don't want to miss. “The transition to a renewable-powered future is inevitable, but it must be underpinned by technologies that can ensure energy reliability and stability. Battery storage stands out as one of the most promising solutions. As such, it demands attention from policymakers, investors, and the energy community.” A great piece by Mads Lykke Andersen our Head of Technology Development, on Euractiv https://lnkd.in/df7RicnC

Maybe I'm not as good at storytelling, as I thought I was... 🤔 But thanks to Rikke Kristine Østergaard, I now know where to improve! Rikke stopped by our fourth and last workshop of the year in the #EEnergiser Community to share some of her valuable insights on storytelling, and it was absolutely great how much we got through in *just* two hours. My key take aways from the workshop: ✨ Start your post with the end goal: what do you want the audience to feel, think, or do after reading your post? ✨ Use a strong opening that grabs attention, e.g. a question or surprising fact. ✨ Make the story relatable and add emotion by showing vulnerability, humor, or authenticity. ✨ Encourage engagement with clear call-to-action, take away, or reflection.   It was an exciting workshop, and I think all the #EEnergisers (and me) left a little wiser and with good ideas on how to share the stories from our work and everyday life at EE💡 We continued our workshop with an exhilarating round of minigolf, dinner and socializing in Copenhagen. A great way to get to know one another better and foster bonds across departments and countries in our small community🙏 Thank you to Rikke and everyone who joined for an exciting day!

Spent thursday on the road to the future of green energy with our new Head of QHSE Jacob Fog Odgaard visiting our green hydrogen facility in Måde, Esbjerg. Powered by two windturbines it is ready to deliver to our customers Air Liquide and Esbjerg Havn consistently very soon! Great efforts from all involved, and for the tour Michael K. Larsen. From there to Kassø to visit our 300MW Er PV facility where you easily get lost… Thanks for spending the time Mogens Bøgh Dicksen and Simon Fragtrup Petersen. And then to Kassø E-Methanol facility for a tour of the impressive plant which is very soon ready for production. Carsten Soerensen, Allan Douglas Collins & Lasse Frydensberg Ludvig Møller thankyou for your efforts and great insights! Looking so much forward to take these two facilities into operation! Lets go!
