Here are the key takeaways from Nathalie’s speech: ✨ Why EQ Matters More Than Ever In today’s fast-changing world, success isn’t just about IQ or technical skills — they’re the baseline. The best leaders combine IQ and EQ to lead innovation, drive change, and navigate complexity. EQ enables us to: - Understand and manage emotions. - Build stronger, more empathetic teams. - Resolve conflicts and stay calm under pressure. 🤖 How EQ Differentiates Us in an Automated Future With up to 30% of work activities projected to be automated in the next six years, our human skills—like problem-solving, empathy, active listening, and collaboration—set us apart. Leaders believe that EQ and adaptability will be essential for thriving in an AI-powered workplace. Nathalie reminded us to embrace AI as a tool to improve, not as a threat. 🔄 The Mindset for Reinvention To shape the future, we must reinvent ourselves. This means fostering: Self-awareness: Recognize and regulate your emotions. Empathy: Understand others' perspectives. Curiosity and adaptability: Approach uncertainty with an open mind. 💡 Addressing Unconscious Bias “If you have a brain, you have unconscious bias.” Nathalie emphasized the need to identify and confront biases rooted in past experiences to foster inclusion. Ignoring these biases feeds into stereotypes and prevents us from embracing diversity fully.
