Yoga on the mountain and Home of Snow! 🤸 🏔️ In connection with the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025, various tours were organised around Austria. Gabriele Lenger was lucky enough to accompany a group of journalists and travel agency representatives from Sweden, Denmark, Italy, UK, Slovenia and Switzerland. The days in Schladming-Dachstein Tourismus and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang consisted of classic winter activities such as skiing and visits to cosy mountain huts, but also different activities such as yoga on the slopes were on the programme before the men's slalom final was experienced. And of course, a unique evening at the Home of Snow event to celebrate the World Ski Championships. We thank all the participants for an as always educational trip with inspiring people - and the fantastic weather ☀️ for providign the group with the best conditions to experience the true Austrian #Lebensgefühl. 🇦🇹 Also, a huge thanks to our partners for making this trip possible: Hotel Pichlmayrgut, Heimatgold, InATeam und Hotel DAS SAAL.

That was the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025! ⛷️ ✨ Remember the 4th of December 2024? It was when we hosted our warm-up event to prepare for the iconic days of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships that took place in Saalbach. Well, yesterday marked the final day of what has been almost two amazing weeks of celebrating the love for snow, adrenaline and breathtaking competitions. Ending with great results for Austria AND the nordic countries. 🎉 But – although the past few weeks have been filled with skiing, we also know that winter sports are for everyone. Whether on the slope, on a winter hike or during a stop at a mountain hut. 🏔️✨ With this in mind, a campaign was created together with SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbH and the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang. This video shows olympic champion and kitesurfing pro Valentin Bontus climbing the legendary World Championship slope on skis and with a kite - from the bottom to the top! 💥 And it will for sure give you an idea of how the atmosphere in Saalbach was full of action and speed. Another ATB in the books! 🇦🇹 On the 16th and 17th January 2025, Austrian Travel Business (ATB), Austria's largest tourism trade fair, took place at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) in Vienna. Here, the aim was to bring together Austria's tourism offerings with the demands of the international market. It is therefore a few days filled with meetings and conversations. And of course we were there this year too. Together with representatives from travel agencies in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, the time was filled with both fun activities and meaningful conversations in beautiful and inspiring settings. 🌏 Just the way we prefer it! Connecting our Danish contacts and our Austrian partners! ⛷️ 💫 When we invite guests to our B2B events, it is with the aim of spreading knowledge and enthusiasm for Austria as a holiday destination to Danish travel journalists, influencers and other contacts, so they can hopefully help us inspire Danes for their future holidays. We do this by facilitating conversations between them - the guests - and our Austrian partners who are present at the events. 🤝 And this has - with great success - resulted in this video, which Snowii is behind. Snowii is a search portal that aims to make it easier for Danes to find the ski destination that suits them and their wishes. Doing so they are also producing videos to showcase the individual destinations that can be found on their website. At our last event, Emil Jess J. and Dominik Steinlechner from Zillertal Tourismus GmbH had an interesting talk, which resulted in a collaboration in December 2024. We're happy to see our events have a direct impact, and we hope you'll take a look at the video and share it with someone who might find Zillertal interesting! 🇦🇹 #lebensgefühl

✨ Press Trip to Gastein with Journalists from Sweden and Denmark! ✨ The beginning of the new year was marked in the best way, as we had the pleasure of hosting journalists and influencers from Sweden and Denmark on an unforgettable press trip to Gastein last week. From the slopes of Sportgastein, Bad Gastein, and Dorfgastein to culinary delights and relaxing in the thermal waters, the group experienced the very best this incredible region has to offer. 🏔️❄️ First of all, a big thank you goes out to our amazing participants! An extraordinary gondola experience! ⛷️ As you may remember, last week we organised an event focusing on the World Ski Championships in Saalbach in 2025. But there was actually a little twist to this day. We organised a special surprise for the ski lovers in Copenhagen. In the centre of the city, they could experience our “Gondel Experience”. ❄️ A concept that made it possible to get a taste of the ski season, which, as we speak, is just around the corner (in many places in Austria it has actually already started). Here, guests could participate in a competition with great prizes, enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the gondola, play shuffleboard, or guess Austrian dialects – the latter is not as easy as it sounds. But it does result in a lot of laughing! We had a blast with everyone who came by.  So a big thanks goes out to everyone who helped with the setup and to the people who played along! Even if the people in the video speak danish, we think you'll get the vibe - take a look! 🎉

The Planetarium Copenhagen as the setting for another FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025 event! ⛷️ 💫 Yesterday it was finally time. After many preparations, together with SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbH and Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, we were able to open the doors to an event that – literally speaking - showed Saalbach in Austria as host of next year's Ski World Cup from all angles (just take a look at the screens surrounding the venue). In magnificent Lebensgefühl style, with an interesting program, a cosy setting and a stand on one leg-competition, it was an evening of listening, networking, and winning cool prizes. As the icing on the cake, we were happy to have Stroh Austria GmbH provide us with delicious drinks such as Jägertee on the rocks! We would like to thank Thomas Uhrskov for humourously moderating the entire evening with exciting interviews and funny anecdotes from his many experiences on the Austrian slopes. In addition, a big thank you to Casper Dyrbye, who will be competing at the World Championships in February, and who shared his experiences and challenges of being a professional skier from Denmark 🏔️. Thanks also to Johanna Krainer from SalzburgerLand and Wolfgang Quas from Saalbach for telling us about their diverse federal state and region! And of course, a big thank you to our many guests who made the evening unforgettable! 🎉 We personally can't wait until February 4th 2025, and the Alpine World Ski Championships get started! Connecting travel & inspiration in Copenhagen! ✈️ 🌍 Last Tuesday, we participated in an inspiring get-together with the Danish Travel Writers Association, hosted at the Polish Embassy in Hellerup. As 2024 comes to an end, the event offered a unique opportunity for speed dating between tourist offices and Danish journalists. We were proud to represent Austria alongside our colleagues from Cyprus, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, and Poland. The event was filled with meaningful conversations, networking, and of course, delicious food and drinks. Before everyone's out for the weekend, we just have one tiny BIG thing to share: A fantastic warm-up for the 2025 Ski World Championships in Saalbach! 🤩 On Wednesday, we had an amazing evening in Stockholm together with Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and SalzburgerLand Tourismus GmbH, gearing up for the Ski World Championships in Saalbach 2025 together with the Swedish Ski Team. A huge thank you to Kristoffer Jakobsen, the great Swedish medal hope for the upcoming championships, for joining us and answering questions. Thanks also to the National Team Manager Lars Melin, Kalle Olsson Bexell, and our Olympic Champion André Myhrer, who guided us through the evening as an outstanding moderator. Special thanks to Audi Sverige and Audi Studios Stockholm for hosting us in their incredible venue, to Stroh Austria GmbH for the iconic snow bomb, Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg GmbH for their great beer, our colleagues Sara Eichenauer and Gabriele Lenger, Wolfgang Quas and Johanna Krainer joining us from Austria, and many more who contributed to making this event so memorable.
