We are super excited to share our new release with you all! 🚀 For this version, our team resolved the in-app chat jitter and introduced a stellar filtering feature, making the Oak app accessible literally anywhere! Another major update is our new 'Verification Flow,' which allows activity hosts to verify activities and add trip reports for the benefit of other users. Additionally, you can now see if you have mutual friends when connecting with your mountain partners, further strengthening our community. Our team also squashed a few bugs, polished the UX on the profile page and updated our navigations flows in the app.

Chamonix was just the beginning 🚀 With our latest feature release we are now getting ready to expand to other locations with our new location-based feature, allowing you to use Oak: ski, climb, bike, virtually anywhere! This also means we are actively seeking Ambassadors ⛷ 🏃♂️ 🚵♂️ 🧗♀️ in nearly every part of Europe with mountains for skiing, climbing, hiking, or mountain biking. OAK - Outdoor Adventure Klub 🌲🏔️🌊 I’m so thrilled to announce that I’m joining OAK as Chairman of the Board of Directors! 🎉🌟 In ancient Greece, a person's character was often measured by their 'pathos,' their deep emotional connection to the world around them 🏛 For me, my passion lies in the great outdoors. Whether I'm climbing mountains or exploring the ocean, I feel alive and connected to nature. Being surrounded by the beauty of the natural world fills me with a sense of wonder and amazement. It's where I feel happiest and most fulfilled. Exploring the mountains and the ocean helps me understand myself better and makes me appreciate the incredible wonders of our planet 🌏 This passion and gratitude for our wonderful planet is exactly what Oak: ski, climb, bike is all about. A community for outdoor adventure people who seek to explore the beauty of nature. OAK is not just about solo adventures; it's about the joy of experiencing thrilling adventures together and forming new friendships along the way 🤲 My journey with OAK began about a year ago when I continued to cross paths with Emil Wittrup Præstbrogaard. We had over the years been on various adventures together, mostly ski touring but also mountain biking, surfing, and rock climbing. There was an instant connection, and I was immediately captivated by the vision behind the project. It's been incredibly inspiring to follow Emil's journey from the idea stage, where we discussed the concept on a summer day, to seeing him learn and build apps and now living in Chamonix, testing a real live app 🏔️ The growth and dedication I've witnessed in Emil are truly impressive, and that's one of the reasons I believe so strongly in this project beyond just the idea itself.
