It is always a pleasure to welcome delegations to our Horsens headquarters, and last week was no exception. From February 24-27, we had the privilege of hosting Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (Vietnam and Thailand) for an intensive three-day program focused on knowledge sharing and business discussions. By fostering open dialogue and exchanging insights, this visit reinforces our partnership with Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients, equipping both teams with valuable market intelligence and strategic alignment for the year ahead. Strengthening these relationships enables us to enhance local market penetration and optimize support for distributors, ensuring our solutions continue to drive value across the feed industry. We look forward to building on these discussions and translating insights into action! Thank you to the JJ team for the opportunity to host you in Denmark.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming three key members from our Findlay (Ohio, USA) facility to our headquarter in Horsens, Denmark. Production Manager Robert Pelton, Maintenance Manager Ryan McDowell, and Process Engineer Jason Amos visited to strengthen collaboration, share best practices, and gain insights into company operations in Denmark. The visit provided an opportunity for the Findlay team to meet face-to-face with their Danish colleagues, moving beyond virtual interactions. “We talk with our Danish colleagues every week, but it’s different when you can see things firsthand and have those in-person discussions,” said Robert Pelton. “Our main goal was to get a better grasp of the operations here and see what we can take home to implement.” “Some of the changes are simple but could make a big difference,” noted Jason Amos. For Ryan McDowell, the trip was also about tackling technical challenges. “I wanted to work with my Danish counterpart, who has extensive experience with Hamlet’s maintenance processes,” he said. The visit reinforced the importance of global collaboration within our company. Henrik Pedersen, Plant Manager at the Horsens facility, emphasized the impact of the exchange: “Bringing all three Findlay team members at once allowed them to challenge ideas, brainstorm together, and immediately discuss how to implement changes back home. It’s a big step toward further aligning operations between Horsens and Findlay.” Beyond technical insights, the visit also revealed cultural differences, such as Denmark’s shared lunch breaks. “Back home, we eat at our desks while working. Here, it’s a moment to connect as a team,” noted McDowell. With a renewed sense of teamwork and actionable insights, Pelton, McDowell, and Amos has returned to Findlay ready to put their learnings into practice. The visit highlights HAMLET PROTEIN’s commitment to continuous improvement and strengthening ties across our global operations.
