At Hyme Energy, we’re on a mission to make green heat for industry accessible, always. Founded in 2021, we’re changing the future of thermal energy storage with molten hydroxides as our innovative storage medium. Years of previous research into the unique thermal properties of molten hydroxides led us to develop a breakthrough salt treatment system — with strong potential within the thermal energy storage market. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, we work across three dedicated spaces — a modern office, a chemistry research lab, and a prototyping and testing facility where we bring our ideas to life. In addition, we operate our demonstrator plant in Esbjerg, Denmark. Join us in making sustainable energy available, even when the sun isn’t shining, or the wind isn’t blowing. Just last week, we celebrated a major milestone: a groundbreaking collaboration agreement with Arla Foods, one of the world’s most respected dairy companies, to develop the largest industrial thermal energy storage plant globally. This year, we also signed key partnerships with suppliers and EPC partners, inaugurated the world’s first molten hydroxides energy storage plant, and were honoured to be selected for the prestigious EIC Accelerator grant.
