🚲 🤜 🤛 🚚 Cargo bikes vs. vans in cities... Cargo bikes: ⚫ Can deliver packages 2x faster ️⚫ Are 10 times cheaper to operate ⚫ Can cover 42% more ground ⚫ Are 97% cleaner (CO2e) That's according to a new study based on data from Brussels-based cargo bike fleet urbike. The study - conducted by Kale AI along with Larry vs Harry and urbike, provides evidence of what many people already believe to be true; that cargo bikes are quicker, cheaper and cleaner for last-mile deliveries. Their conclusion? "Widespread cargo bike adoption could catalyse broader improvements to urban life and sustainability."
