What does Investor Day look like with moving images? 🎥 Take a look at how last week's day transpired at the wonderful MJ'S Hotel in Malmö. Investor Day will be back again, so we can continue this collaborative effort, across the NOME family, of helping more life science companies succeed and find investors. Thank you so much, Marko Kuisma from Innovestor, Patrik Strömberg from AnaCardio and Malin Bornschein, PhD from Reccan AB for letting us grill you about the event 😉 AND, for life science startups not yet part of NOME, remember that our Annual Meeting is coming up in November, and with it, the Startup Competition, where the winner is welcomed into NOME. Watch this space for when we open for applications 🚨

Fantastic to see Antag Therapeutics raising an impressive Series A round! Antag Therapeutics were the eight company to join NOME, and they even found their Chairman in their mentor group, so it makes us very proud to see this round closed!
We are excited to announce that Antag Therapeutics has closed an €80 million Series A financing round, led by Versant Ventures with participation from existing investors Novo Holdings, Longview Ventures, and Export and Investment Fund of Denmark, as well as new investors SR One Capital Management, Dawn Biopharma, Pictet Asset Management. 🎉 This funding will accelerate the clinical development of our lead candidate, AT-7687, a novel, once-weekly subcutaneous antagonist of the Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide Receptor (#GIPR), targeting obesity management. It will also fuel the expansion of our pipeline of monthly injectable therapies. Preclinical studies of AT-7687 in combination with a GLP-1 receptor agonist have demonstrated the potential to deliver industry leading weight loss alongside significant metabolic benefits. With FDA clearance of our #IND application, we are thrilled to initiate Phase I clinical trials early next year, evaluating AT-7687 as both a monotherapy and in combination with a GLP-1 receptor agonist in obese patients. A huge thank you to our investors for their trust and support in helping us take this important step forward in delivering novel #obesity treatments! What an incredible Annual Meeting we had yesterday, and thank you so much to everyone for participating and making it as special as it was! ❤️ Thank you to MyCural Therapeutics, 52North - creators of Neutrocheck®, Biomensio Ltd, Sedivention GmbH, Kiox Pharmaceuticals and Lifecare, who competed in our annual startup competition, and a huge congratulations to 52 North and Umaima Malik Ahmad for winning the competition and entry into NOME. A warm welcome! Equally, a massive thank you goes to the legend who provided the keynote, Jan van de Winkel, Ph.D. Such an inspiring story! Congratulations to our mentor of the year, Monica Alfaro Welling, with a very deserved award, and of course to Gedea Biotech AB with the 2024 Arvind Hundal award! Our amazing alumni panel, consisting of Cristiana Pires, Prateek Singh, Cathrine Ro Heuch and Robert Lauritzen delivered some fantastic insights into their own journeys. And finally, Henrik Svanekiær, gave us a hilarious show for everyone in the room. We absolutely loved it! We can’t wait to do it again next year!
