The Renewable Construction Academy Ambassador, Gordon Foot MNM FNI, is making great strides in preparing for his daring 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝘇𝗶 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 fundraiser. Since the initial announcement, Gordon has continued his relentless training—running daily while storms keep him away from his kayak—proving that both physical and mental preparation are key for the 10-day adventure ahead. This incredible challenge will involve kayaking over 100km and navigating the 25 Grade 5 rapids of Batoka Gorge, known as "The Terminator". 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁: Gordon’s fundraising efforts have soared, reaching an impressive £5,342 in just two months! This remarkable progress is thanks to countless generous donations from people inspired by his mission to support two incredible charities: Safer Waves Sailors' Society Gordon’s simple ask remains—just the price of a coffee.
