Impactful, low-cost renewable electricity for companies.

Om os

Reel is the next-generation electricity supplier for climate-conscious companies. Reel matches your company with renewable electricity to reduce your emissions and electricity costs. How we work: With Reel as your electricity supplier, your company will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This agreement builds a new solar or wind park to match your company’s electricity consumption. In return, your company reduces its emissions and receives electricity at an attractive, fixed price. Who we are: Reel’s team of electricity specialists and sustainability experts is driven by a single purpose: to empower all companies to accelerate the renewable energy transition. • Meet Bita Abadi, our new Senior Account Executive! Bita joined our commercial team earlier this fall, bringing over 10 years of experience in business development. At Reel, she is focusing on sales, business development and refining our go-to-market strategy. Throughout her career, Bita has been driven by client relationships, understanding their needs and challenges, and helping them reach their business objectives. She believes that sustainability should be at the core of business strategy, alongside sales, production, and marketing, to ensure businesses are future-fit. We asked her a few questions and here’s what she had to say: 💚 Why Reel? "Reel is the kinder egg I was looking for: a Danish company working at the intersection of tech and climate impact. Add to that a team of skilled and passionate colleagues who go to work every day to accelerate the energy transition in Denmark and I had to join." 🌿 How do you think companies can best integrate sustainability into their business strategy? "An effective approach I’ve seen in the companies I speak with is to focus on enhancing market position. Different stakeholders—including investors, customers, and employees—increasingly favour businesses committed to sustainability. These commitments can differentiate a company, attract eco-conscious customers, and open doors to new markets. Sustainability isn’t just a value-driven choice - it’s a competitive advantage." 🇯🇵 What’s the best trip you’ve taken recently? "I had high expectations before my trip to Japan—and it was more than I imagined. I fell in love with Tokyo. The cool local neighbourhoods, each with their own vibe - the architecture (I even went building hunting!) - the cuisine and coffee experiences were insanely good (I haven’t learned to love matcha yet) - the culture, the stylish locals, the parks, and the museums, I could go on. I’m definitely not done with Tokyo!" We're grateful to have you Bita! We look forward to all the exciting, impact-driven work we have planned together 🚀

  • Climate change is accelerating—that much is clear. But the good news? We have the solutions to tackle it. The question is: which solutions make a real difference? Often, it’s the solutions that rethink the norm. For SwipBox, this meant rethinking parcel delivery. Instead of traditional door-to-door drop-offs, they consolidate deliveries at parcel lockers. With the right location strategy, these parcel lockers can reduce emissions by up to 32% compared to home deliveries 📦. SwipBox is also rethinking how they buy electricity. Most companies ‘green’ their electricity by buying renewable energy certificates, which have little to no real-world impact on the climate. SwipBox chose a different path ⚡ Swipe through and discover what they chose 👇

  • GOOD NEWS: Solar farms can help tackle both climate change and biodiversity loss! Every year, Denmark - and the world - loses more biodiversity, from microscopic bacteria to birds, fish, and large mammals. This diversity of life is essential for a healthy planet, yet it's disappearing at an alarming rate. At the same time, we face the growing climate crisis. These two crises are closely interconnected and we can’t solve one without addressing the other. Here’s the good news: when thoughtfully located, designed, and managed, solar parks can be part of the solution to both crises. Research into the biodiversity benefits of solar parks is still evolving, but here’s what we know: solar parks, which last 25 to 30 years, can create low-disturbance habitats, offering shelter to struggling wildlife and regenerating soils (when replacing industrial agriculture). Swipe through to explore some of the promising #biodiversity benefits solar parks can bring. 🌞

  • REAL CHANGE FOR THE CLIMATE Climate change is accelerating. That much is clear. But we have the solutions to address it. The question is: which solutions will make a real difference and move the needle? Advancing the circular economy is a crucial step. So is ensuring that companies’ electricity purchase results in the construction of new renewable energy projects. Genan, a major tire recycler, wanted their electricity strategy to align with the sustainability of their business. That’s why they chose to purchase electricity through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Reel. Their PPA will not only stabilise their electricity costs but also ensure the construction of a new solar park in Mesballe ⚡ Swipe to discover Genan’s story!
