Yesterday our team gathered to mark this milestone, and these machines will help optimise storage space, improve inventory management, and speed up the order picking process. For our customers in the Middle East, this translates to faster access to aircraft spare parts, reduced lead times, and greater operational efficiency. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁! Two days ago the “Spirit of Satair Awards” were ceremonially presented for the second time at our headquarters in Copenhagen, as we continue our journey to celebrate the exceptional spirit within our global Satair family. This year, the theme of the “Spirit of Satair Awards” was “𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴”, and we were excited to receive a variety of inspiring submissions. The focus was on projects that have already been successfully implemented and have demonstrated significant value to our organisation. Besides a cross-functional jury, a key element of the award is ensuring that every employee has a voice and the opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making process. The first prize was awarded to the team of the “𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁”. The project has delivered the Satair Market as a One-Stop-Shop for all spare part purchases from Satair and Airbus, providing customers with access to 7 million parts - nearly tripling the portfolio available on the portal today. The winning team is looking forward to celebrating together at a dedicated fun team event! This partnership represents a significant milestone in our collaboration, enabling both companies to enhance operational efficiency. With Satair’s tailored IMS solution, VietJet can focus on keeping aircraft flying while benefiting from cost savings, optimized resources, and reduced capital expenditure - ultimately making air travel more affordable for their passengers. We are delighted to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent with Etihad Engineering for an Integrated Material Services (IMS) supply chain solution, due to be finalised in Q2 2025. This agreement will provide a comprehensive solution for consumable and expendable (C&E) parts, streamlining procurement and logistics for Etihad Engineering’s maintenance operations. This strategic partnership builds on our decades-long relationship with Etihad Engineering, expanding the scope of our collaboration to cover thousands of C&E parts from various OEMs. With exclusive access to locally managed stock, this agreement will significantly enhance operational efficiency and parts availability, ensuring a more seamless and effective supply chain solution for Etihad Engineering’s maintenance needs.
