At Siana, we specialize in helping manufacturing companies prevent costly unplanned production stops and downtime that result from critical machines unexpectedly breaking down due to wear and tear. We achieve this through our intuitive and autonomous predictive maintenance system, which can monitor rotating machines such as motors, pumps, bearings, and similar equipment, automatically predicting failures and breakdowns. By leveraging our technology, maintenance staff can proactively plan and perform maintenance tasks before emerging issues lead to production stops. This approach reduces unplanned downtime, enhances overall productivity and operational reliability, and lowers costs associated with wasted resources. Our technology comprises the Siana Sensor Device, which can be easily and non-intrusively mounted on machines with universal support. It connects to our cloud platform through the user-friendly Siana App and via a direct cellular connection, eliminating the need for routers or gateways. On the Siana Platform, users can conveniently monitor the status of all their machines, easily identifying which ones require servicing and which ones are operating as expected.

    Why Is So Much Machine Data in Manufacturing Never Used? 😮 Manufacturers are collecting more machine data than ever: runtime, sensor readings, maintenance logs, production data etc. But in many cases, that data isn’t being used to its full potential. Not because companies don’t want to, but because systems don’t talk to each other. I see this all the time: ➡️ Machine data is stored in standalone platforms, often provided by the OEMs, with no easy way to export or integrate it. ➡️ Maintenance logs are buried in CMMS (maintenance) systems, making it hard to link past repairs to actual machine performance. ➡️ ERP systems track production and resource planning but don’t include real-time machine insights. ➡️ Manual reports are still common, technicians document service tasks on paper or in spreadsheets that aren’t linked to real-time machine data.     𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 – 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻! 🚨 In a recent post, I shared Petur Larsen exciting collaboration with Siana, which aims to bring advanced predictive maintenance solutions to the fishing industry. Today, I’d like to highlight two real-world examples of how Siana’s system has proven invaluable to our customers. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭 Siana’s system detected irregular vibrations in a Baader filleting machine at one of our customer sites. The system immediately sent a notification, and upon inspection, the issue was identified as a misaligned drive belt. Siana’s precise monitoring resolved the problem quickly, preventing costly downtime and ensuring smooth operations. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 Earlier this summer, Siana’s system flagged a critical increase in vibration levels at another customer’s site. After investigating, we found that the cause was a damaged bearing. With Siana’s early warning, the customer replaced the bearing before it could cause more damage, saving time and avoiding production delays. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲: “𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘚𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦. Det betyder ifølge Michele Colli, Head of Digital Production hos FORCE Technology, at "vi udfører vedligeholdelse for ofte eller for sent" – hvilket er dyrt. I et MADE Webinar gav han og Teknisk produktionsmanager hos FORCE Tecnology Kasper Stens Honoré indblik i metoder til at identificere de bedste business cases for at forbedre ens vedligeholdsprocedurer med industri 4.0 teknologi. Et eksempel på en sådan teknologi præsenterede Mads Harding Gliemann medstifter af virksomheden Siana, der tilbyder et sensorsystem til at foregribe fejl i maskiner ved at måle på vibrationer.
