In 1908, on the island of Funen in Denmark, Helge Sibast was born into a family of skilled cabinetmakers. Apprenticing under his father, he quickly mastered craftsmanship and later expanded the family business. Helge redefined woodworking, creating innovative designs that set new standards. By the 1950s and 60s, Sibast Furniture employed over 120 craftsmen and produced some of Danish design’s most iconic pieces, sold worldwide.
