Skypuzzler and Unifly have successfully completed the Eureka Network Eurostars project!   We are thrilled to announce that Skypuzzler and Unifly have successfully completed the Eureka Network Eurostars project CONDUCT (sCaling the drOne iNdustry through enhanceD Unmanned traffiC managemenT).   A key highlight of this achievement is the seamless integration of Skypuzzler’s Digital Air Traffic Control (iDATC) with Unifly’s UAS Traffic Management (UTM) system. This fusion enhances real-time conflict resolution at both tactical and strategic levels, enabling more autonomous, scalable, and efficient BVLOS drone operations.   Jesper Skou, CEO & Co-Founder, says “This project showcases Skypuzzler’s commitment to shaping the future of automated aviation. Skypuzzler is honoured to be selected as one of 11 startups for the Abu Dhabi Police Innovation Challenge! Not only is flight safety a top priority for us, but to provide safety for individual citizens by utilising iDATC to enhance crime prevention and public safety, represents a significant milestone.   Jesper Skou is looking forward to visiting Abu Dhabi from February 24 to 27, where he will engage with industry leaders and professionals.

New System Architect at Skypuzzler! We are happy to welcome Johan Thillemann, who will be our System Architect at Skypuzzler. Johan will join the Skypuzzler team to assist in productising our solution with a focus on security, automated testing, and customer integrations. Johan has a broad background in IT and open source, with previous roles over the past 15 years spanning penetration testing, DevOps, cryptography, and working as a system architect. With Johan on board, we are optimistic about our further contributions to scaling the drone industry. Johan says, “I look forward to putting my experience to work for Skypuzzler and its customers, ensuring we deliver a solid and stable product that does what it says on the tin". Welcome to our new Management and Operational Assistant, Karin Hammer! We are happy to announce that Skypuzzler has hired a new Management and Operational Assistant. Karin will be responsible for HR, accounting and other administrative areas. Additionally, Karin will support the project and marketing team, as well as management. This is an excellent match for Skypuzzler, as Karin has a background in communication, HR, project management, and executive support. She has previously worked for companies such as MAN Diesel & Turbo and GreenMobility. With Karin on board, we are optimistic about our further contributions to scaling the drone industry. The year 2024 has been fantastic, marked by exceptional milestones and inspiring meetings and events. A lot has happened, and we would like to highlight the following achievements: - We have been selected for funding, combining both grants and equity, under the EIC Accelerator. - We have obtained an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system. - We have opened a subsidiary in Toulouse. - We have expanded to a team of 10 by adding 5 new full-time colleagues.   Jesper Skou, CEO, reflects on 2024 and shares his hopes for 2025: “This year has been great for Skypuzzler, not only because of our strong achievements but also due to the many opportunities that have opened up for us.
