Delighted to be able present the #CSRD guide developed by SOS Børnebyerne / SOS Children’s Villages Denmark and Ramboll Management Consulting at the Danish Business Forum in Nairobi today - together with our good colleagues from SOS Children's Villages Kenya and Gustav Plantin from Ramboll Management Consulting. The CSRD guide - which you may find here: https://lnkd.in/e5SurAnw - offers concrete and thorough guidance as to how corporations may handle their reporting as per the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive - and specifically engage with NGO’s as partners and ‘credible proxies’ as it is called in CSRD nomenclature, e.g. delivering crucial data in terms of impact on local communities and indeed also offering real and measurable ways forward in terms of remedial initiatives. My good colleagues Carl Gustav Klemmed Lorentzen and Mai Ebdrup are at the ready to explain further, should you be interested - don’t hesitate to reach out. I believe we are truly exploring new ways of partnering for sustainability and long term social transformation - and I am honestly very proud of this feat and of my team. A very warm thanks to Walter S. Odhiambo and all colleagues at SOS Children's Villages Kenya, to Gustav Plantin and Rambøll, to the Royal Danish Embassy in Kenya, especially Head of Trade Christian Staffeldt for excellent dialogue and generously hosting the launch - and of course not least to my excellent team!
