As we approach the opening of DAHEI, our new apartment hotel in Copenhagen, we wanted to share some exciting progress and behind-the-scenes updates. We’ve now installed the large lightbox signs on the facade, marking the finish line of a journey that began nearly three years ago when we first envisioned DAHEI. Now we are eagerly counting down the days to our opening!

SNEAK PEEK OF DAHEI We are so excited to share a sneak peek of DAHEI, our new apartment hotel in Copenhagen’s Amager neighborhood. We are finalizing the last details, with our housekeeping team preparing the rooms and gearing up for the grand opening! Here’s a taste of the nostalgic look and feel of the studios, inspired by the traveling adventures of the early 1900s. We can't wait to show you more. Stay tuned—more information will come in the following days.

  • We’re excited to announce the launch of “The Complete Work in Progress,” an experimental in-house publication marking our studio’s 10th anniversary. “The Complete Work in Progress” is more than just a retrospective; it is an open invitation to explore Spacon & X’s journey over the past decade. Arranged in an office-core inspired binder with removable chapters, the publication aims to reflect the studio’s commitment to fluidity and experimentation in design. Giving a second life to undesired office ring binders, the work challenges the conventional architecture publication and presentation format, offering readers an honest experience of the studio’s triumphs, beliefs, values, and insights. This publication was created in collaboration at our studio and it is available to view or purchase at our location in Østerbro, Copenhagen. We hope you'll enjoy a sneak-peak into our memories and practice.

  • The Wood Wood Copenhagen Fashion Week trade fair booth, conceptualised and designed by Spacon & X. The installation is staged in the dynamic between an industrial portal crane, carrying a 1.5 tons rock and the mirroring surface of a water basin. An impactful, heavy-duty construction inspired by Wood Wood’s creative direction, Brian Jensen’s, fascination with stone. The crane is rented, the stone borrowed and the furniture are our own Supersuper and Sugoisugoi collections borrowed from our office - making the project zero-waste. Design and Concept: Spacon & X

1664 Blanc teams up with Swedish-French artist Andre Saraiva to launch a vibrant popup kiosk during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Inspired by the iconic core blue of 1664 Blanc, the kiosk includes elements of a traditional Supermarché with a twist. The kiosk is designed around a dominant centerpiece of fridges filled with 1664 Blanc x Andre Saraiva beer, champagne, merch, flowers and magazines. Dominating the lounge is a 2.4-meter-tall 1664 Blanc bottle, handmade from paper mache, which adds to the playful Supermarché vibe. This massive blue bottle complements exhibition tables showcasing artworks by Danish ceramicist and painter Rose Eken. We incorporated our own supersuper interior collection in a bold yellow, representing the lemon used in 1664 Blanc, to enhance the space. Throughout the popup, visitors will find shopping carts filled with beers and lemons, adding a whimsical touch to the retail experience. Set Design and Production: Spacon & X
