Exciting times for SQALE!  Last week, our Co-Founders attended two interesting initiatives about innovation and quantum technologies. 📍 Christopher Savoie, Chairman of the US QED-C®- Quantum Economic Development Consortium’s Quantum Law Technical Advisory Committee, hosted a legal education seminar in Seattle, covering key topics of immigration, ethics, export control, and IP. 📍Meanwhile, Soheil Mansouri presented the first panel on quantum computing at the AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers annual meeting in San Diego, discussing the advancement of quantum technologies ant the future of engineering with leaders and innovators in the field. Quantum, Generative AI-Enhanced Micromanufacturing SQALE, incubated at the BioInnovation Institute in Denmark, says it is using quantum generative AI to future-proof manufacturing. The pioneering method, dubbed BioBox™, brings a faster and more affordable approach to modular, decentralized biomanufacturing by using what co-founder Seyed Amir Mansouri, PhD, calls “quantum generative algorithms.”

🗝Unlocking the Danish life science ecosystem to international investors🗝 At BII, we encourage our start-ups to have an international outlook from day one. Chaque semaine, Innovitech vous fait un résumé des dernières nouvelles dans le domaine de l'innovation ⬇️ 📋 Aujourd'hui, plusieurs logiciels de prise de notes assistés par intelligence artificielle transforment la pratique des médecins, infirmières et autres professionnels de santé. Des solutions comme Scribeberry, Ambient Scribe, Copilot et Dragon Medical One permettent de synthétiser une conversation entre patient et praticien, puis de retranscrire automatiquement les informations dans le dossier médical. Au Québec, des outils comme CoeurWay se démarquent en prenant en compte les particularités linguistiques locales, permettant aux soignants de récupérer jusqu’à une dizaine d’heures par semaine qu’ils peuvent réinvestir dans les soins aux patients. Toutefois, des questions éthiques sur l’utilisation et la confidentialité des données doivent encore être résolues. 🧠 Des chercheurs de London (Ontario) affirment avoir réussi à détecter la conscience chez un patient dans le coma souffrant d'une lésion cérébrale. Grâce à une technique avancée de neuroimagerie, la spectroscopie fonctionnelle proche infrarouge (fNIRS), cette découverte pourrait améliorer la prédiction du rétablissement des patients gravement blessés, ouvrant ainsi la voie à des soins plus adaptés et personnalisés. 🚀 Le 7 septembre 2024, la capsule Starliner de Boeing est revenue sur Terre sans son équipage après un vol d'essai vers la Station spatiale internationale. Les astronautes Butch Wilmore et Sunita Williams prolongeront leur séjour à bord jusqu'en février 2025. Cette mission difficile révèle les défis auxquels le programme Starliner de Boeing est confronté, tout en soulignant la nécessité d'avoir plusieurs systèmes de transport spatial habité pour assurer la continuité des opérations de la Station spatiale internationale. 🌐 Le Pôle Digital, soutenu par le gouvernement fédéral canadien, investit 53 millions de dollars dans 11 projets d'IA, incluant des domaines comme l'imagerie souterraine, les soins aux patients et l'agriculture. Les projets d’Ideon Technologies, Calabrio, Inc. Canada et AGI3, totalisant 162 millions de dollars, reçoivent un soutien majeur. DIGITAL vise à renforcer la commercialisation et le développement des talents en IA au Canada. 🔬SQALE, basé au Danemark, lance BioBox, une méthode innovante utilisant des algorithmes quantiques pour rendre la biofabrication plus rapide et économique. Cette technologie vise à produire des thérapies orphelines comme les vaccins contre le VIH, tout en rendant la production plus accessible et décentralisée.
