One of the most important but troublesome problems of the measurement of earth-current is how to minimize the so-called “Electrode's Effects”. The writers have studied one of them, the c. e. m. f. produced by the current passing through the various kinds of soil and propose a method to refrain this effect from the measurement of earth-potential.
